The Application Of Traditional Sword Spirit In The Visual Design Of Badminton Products

Since the birth of badminton,there have been more than 200 years of history.Since the Seoul Olympic Games was listed as a competition event,it has become popular throughout the world,has a broad mass base,and has the potential to become the international mainstream sports program in the future.It is also our country.The advantages of the project.However,badminton products are more uniform in appearance design.Most of them focus on the design and propaganda of badminton sports equipment materials and functional patterns.Patterns and visual symbols also follow the distinction of functional areas,often abstract geometry,and elements of English letters are used as design language for design.To highlight the sense of technology,has caused consumer fatigue,psychological disgust.Therefore,through questionnaire survey and on-the-spot investigation and research,this article focuses on the modern sports spirit: higher,faster,stronger,free,competitive,pioneering,enterprising core elements of development,and the spirit of ancient swordsmanship: self-sacrifice,perseverance,tenacity Pulling as a source of design inspiration,based on the feelings between the ancient swordsman and Sabre,and the modern people engaged in badminton sports take the racket as their own unique emotion similarity as a design basis.Starting from the spirit of casting swords,designing abstract emotions as figurative graphics,excavating the connotation of Chinese elements and interpreting contemporary spirits with traditional elements.In this regard,the design practice of “Zhan Lu” was adopted as the main design object from the product series logo and the visual application of the product series.
