Analysis Of Russian Chemical Terms And Their Chinese Translation

Terminology is a collection of terms used to represent concepts in a specific subject area.Terminology began in the 1930 s and gradually developed into an independent discipline in the 1970 s.With the development of science and technology,a series of issues such as the composition,translation,norms,and cognitive methods of terminology have gradually been paid attention by scholars.The analysis and research of terminology can proceed from multiple disciplines and multiple perspectives.This article takes the Russian chemical terminology system as the research object.Through studying the historical process of the origin,development and current status of the Russian chemical industry,it finds out the external factors that affect the composition and evolution of the Russian chemical terminology system.Phenomenon and composition types are analyzed and summarized,and the semantic and composition characteristics of Russian chemical terms are summarized.Based on the above research,this article further explores the Russian chemical terminology from the perspective of translation.According to some characteristics of the chemical discipline and the semantics and structural characteristics of Russian chemical terms,the difficulties of the translation of Russian chemical terms are summarized with examples,and the conversion method,the translation method of chemical terminology addition and subtraction and the translation methods based on the theory of term translation are summarized for these difficulties.Some methods commonly used in the translation of Russian chemical terms such as pronunciation and meaning and translation,in order to inspire and refer to the translation of relevant scientific and technological texts.
