Some lack of utility value and others can not express concept clearly. We modify 48 terms which are improperly named but which can express concept clearly. We supplement some terms which are leaved out in former garment terminology or which turn up newly with the development of garment industry.The terminology is language name of concept, The definition is the language depiction of concept In order to give garment terminology a corresponding and exact concept, it is the core work which gives a definition to terminology. We probe the terminology definition of the former standard on the implication and the rule of the definition. We amend 82 definitions which are not scientific in order to improve professional lines and academic nature of the definition.In order to master and use the garment terminology exactly, it is very important to have a intact garment concept system. We improve the former garment terminology system by adding garment CAD >, grading > the performance and upkeep of garmentNgarment trade and so on. It will perfect the garment terminology system.As a standard of GB, it is a legal documents. So it must according to some rule .
