At present,the traditional process is still used in the preparation of diamond tools,that is,the processing technology of natural diamond is designed manually.This preparation technology greatly depends on the manual experience of the operator.Not only is the process complicated,but the results are also difficult to be accurate.With the rapid development of computer technology,some new methods and equipment are gradually introduced into the process of natural diamond processing.Traditional natural diamond process planning methods and computer technology are combined in this paper to form a set of natural diamond planning strategies for tool applications.Firstly,an image acquisition platform is designed,which can collect two-dimensional images of diamonds in different positions when the natural diamond rough to be processed makes one revolution.Use the SIFT algorithm to find the matching points in each image and perform pairwise matching;the SFM algorithm is applied to calculate the camera position of each frame of the two-dimensional image in the reconstruction space and generate a sparse point cloud.The Poisson surface reconstruction algorithm is used to connect these points into a surface,and finally a three-dimensional model of natural diamond rough is established.Secondly,the difficulty of processing the typical crystal face of natural diamond and the performance of the main surface of natural diamond tools are analyzed based on the anisotropic mechanical characteristics of diamond crystals and the PBC theory of crystals,which provides a theoretical basis for the process planning of natural diamond facing tool application.Then,combining the three-dimensional reconstruction technology and crystal orientation technology,a crystal orientation test platform based on reconstructed natural diamond was designed and built.The spatial position of each typical crystal plane in the reconstructed model can be calculated through the positional relationship of each crystal face in the cubic crystal,the principle of crystal orientation,the global coordinate system in threedimensional reconstruction selection principle,as well the positional relationship between the camera and the orientation instrument in the test platform.This method provides matching conditions for the performance matching of natural diamonds for tool applications.Finally,the types of typical natural diamond tools are analyzed,and taking natural diamond tools for cutting as an example,the construction program of typical natural diamond tools is compile in combination with VBA.This program can realize two functions of parametric creation of three-dimensional model of typical diamond tools and embedded reconstruction,which improves the efficiency and accuracy of modeling.When the strategy plan conducted,the constraints should be firstly determined based on the performance of natural diamond tools,and then give the matching results of each scheme.Geometric constraints are carried out according to the "probing progressive search algorithm" to obtain the natural diamond tools to be processed.In the optimal cutting position,add the cutting surface,calculate the utilization rate of some typical schemes to cut part of the material,and get the optimal planning scheme.Finally,a set of planning strategies for the application of tools is formed.
