Now, Precise and ultra-precise machining technology, especially single crystal diamond machining technology, is widely utilized in the fields of national defence, avigation & spaceflight, electronic, precise machining tool and precise apparatus, and many researchers now pay much attentions to natural diamond machining technology and its correlative technology.In this paper, the author has researched the technology and techniques of single crystal diamond tools cutting edge grinding systematically, and ulteriorly brought forward the designing scheme of diamond tools cutting edge grinding machine tool, also presented the feasible research technologic approach.The author firstly dissertates the technology based on diamond tool grinding, and deep anatomises the mechanism of diamond tools edge grinding, the designing and manufacturing technology of diamond tool, also the measuring technology of diamond tool grinding quality. In this paper, the author has compactly summarized the properties of many famous diamond tools cutting edge grinding machine tools in the world.
