New Chinese-style furniture is the “main force” in the inheritance and development of Chinese furniture culture.How to better apply traditional Chinese culture to the customized design of new Chinese-style furniture in a flexible way,in order to make Chinese-style furniture access the domestic life of more consumers,and facilitate new Chinese-style furniture and traditional Chinese culture to walk side by side in modern life is an issue worth thinking about.While paying attention to exhibiting the Chinese culture,designers should also conform to the aesthetics in the historical background and the customization needs of users and improve the innovation degree of customized designs of new Chinese-style furniture.In this paper,cultural thinking and innovative thinking are advocated as two main design methods.Traditional Chinese culture is incorporated into the morphology design,by means of culture implying and “grafting”.Using the “title” breakthrough method,the author explores the innovation dimensions in the design of new Chinese-style furniture.And using implicit demand method,the author analyzes the implicit demands in users’ customization and consumption experience in depth,so as to design new Chinese-style furniture that not only carries forward national culture,but also satisfies the customization needs of consumers and make the “new” in new Chinesestyle furniture more vibrant and diversified. |
