At present,China is the country with the largest carbon emissions,and there is a great pressure to reduce emissions.With the publication of the outline of the BeijingTianjin-Hebei coordinated Development Plan and the approval of the General Plan of the Railway Hub in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Core area,the transportation industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is developing faster and faster,while transportation promotes economic development at the same time,the resulting carbon emissions can not be ignored.The "bottom-up" carbon emission calculation method is used to calculate the carbon emissions generated by the transportation industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.The results show that the carbon emissions generated by the transportation industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 2013 to 2017 account for 7.49% to 7.94% of the national transportation industry carbon emissions.Through the analysis of the passenger volume of various traffic modes in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,we can see that the intercity traffic modes between Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei are mainly railways and expressway.The whole life cycle of intercity railway and expressway is divided into four stages: material production,construction,operation and maintenance,scrapping and demolition,and the carbon emission model of passenger transport in the whole life cycle of intercity railway and expressway is established according to the characteristics of different stages.The research scope of the beijing-tianjin-hebei intercity railway network is determined according to the general plan of railway hub in the beijing-tianjin-hebei core area.By the method of traffic generation,passenger of the intercity rail network is forecasted,and the whole life cycle of the intercity rail network passenger transport carbon emissions are calculated,the results show that the whole life cycle of the intercity rail network of carbon emissions,961.51 million tons,12.2% than the material production,operation and maintenance phase accounted for 84.9%,is the key stage to reduce emissions.Based on the passenger turnover data of beijing-tianjin-hebei expressway from 2008 to 2017,the passenger turnover generated in the entire life cycle of beijing-tianjinhebei expressway network was predicted by using the exponential smoothing method,and it was concluded that the passenger turnover of beijing-tianjin-hebei expressway network in the entire life cycle would be 105.3 billion people and 100 kilometers.According to the highway network planning and construction situation of the beijingtianjin-hebei region,combining with the existing research data,the whole life cycle of beijing-tianjin-hebei freeways predict passenger transport carbon emissions,results show that the whole life cycle of beijing-tianjin-hebei freeways passenger transport carbon emissions is 559.45 million tons,operation and maintenance phase for 432.96 million tons,accounting for 77.39% of the total carbon emissions.The carbon emissions generated by passenger traffic account for 60.88% of the total lifetime passenger carbon emissions.From the perspective of the whole life cycle,the carbon emission generated by intercity railway network is 1.71 times that of expressways,but its passenger turnover is 3.34 times that of expressways,and the emission reduction advantage of intercity railway is obvious.
