Coal is widely used in industries suchh as chemical,science and technology,military,steel,and construction.It is an important one-time resource for current social development.The safety level of coal mining has been greatly improved through unremitting efforts of coal miners of all generations,but coal mine accidents still occur from time to time,and the safetystatus of the working environment still needs to be continuously discussed and improved.Because the production environment of coal mines is deep below the surface,the environment is special,the operation is difficult,the hidden dangers of production environment are diverse,and more hidden than other industries.At present,there is still a lack of research on the safctyof coal mine underground working environment from the perspective of restricted space.The basis for identifying and evaluating underground coal mine risks from the perspective of restricted space is weak This thesis is carried out under this background.This thesis takes the MDS coal mining face as an example to conduct coal mine restricted space risk identification and evaluation research.Consult the mine data and combine the relevant literature on the restricted space to investigate the characteristics of the restricted space from the aspects of space environment,internal configuration,storage and operation materials,operations performed,and ergonomic factors,analyze spatial characteristics against relevant standards and convert them into risk factors,and classify the risks into five categories:atmospheric,chemical,fall,physical,and ergonomic.The preliminary index system for the restricted space risk in the coal mine was sorted out,and the final index system was obtained after the Delphi method was used to modify it.Based on the risk index system,a relatively complete risk index matrix method was selected for qualitative risk assessment,and the operating condition hazard analysis method(LEC)was improved to conduc a quantitative risk assessment,and compare the evaluation results of the two and exclude the risk level of each risk factor.Finally,the risk management and control countermeasures are put forward based on the classification and grade for evaluating the risk level of confined space in coal mines.After the risk identification of the MDS coal mining face and the correction by the Delphi method,20 risk factors of 5 types of risks were obtained,and further evaluation results showed that physical and atmospheric risks are the greatest threats to the safety of coal mine underground operations,and effective measures must be taken to control them;chemical risks are mostly moderate and general risks need to be controlled by certain measures;falling risks are mostly general risks,which can be better reduced by taking some conventional protective measures;ergonomic risks are less serious than other risks,but the frequency of occurrence is relatively high,mostly belonging to medium risk.
