With the gradual popularization of smart phones and the coming of 5G era,the touch screen technology of mobile phones also develops rapidly and iteratively.At present,the development trend of smart phones is large screens and curved screens,and the material of curved screens is mainly glass.Due to the advantages of high strength,high stiffness,high gloss,good heat dissipation and no interference with communication signals,3D curved surface glass shell has become the first choice of flagship mobile phone brands in recent years.The curved surface structure poses a great challenge to the design and production process control of mobile phones,but it also means huge business opportunities.Company A is a manufacturer of mobile phone 3D curved surface cover plate,which provides mobile phone cover plate to mobile phone assembly manufacturers for assembly and production.At present,the manufacturers of 3D curved glass in the flat panel industry have encountered the bottleneck of low product yield,which leads to the high price of products and which is not conducive to the comprehensive promotion of curved screen mobile phones.If there is a breakthrough in product quality,the company's core competitiveness will be formed.Six Sigma management is a mature theory and method system.Based on the method of Six Sigma management,this paper is applied to improve the quality of curved glass production.According to DMAIC standard mode of six sigma(define,measure,analyze,improve and control),the problems in curved glass production are analyzed and solved effectively.First of all,the marketing department of company A communicates with customers to obtain the real needs of customers,and VOC is converted into ctqs.According to the key quality points,the causes are analyzed one by one,and the problems are preliminarily defined.Then,the production process of 3D curved glass was sorted out for the first time,and the production data were measured and recorded.After Pareto Diagram and Pareto principle analysis,the key process was determined.Then,MSA is used to verify the system to prove its reliability.Using the C & E matrix to analyze the production process again,the final key process is obtained.Pareto analysis was carried out on the data of defective products in key processes.Then the project team carried out brainstorming and drew fishbone diagram to determine the key factors.Then FMEA was used to screen out the core key factors.Through relevant analysis and DOE design,targeted measures are formulated and the results are verified,which greatly improves the production quality of curved glass.Finally,the results are maintained through standardization and the effect is continuously monitored.Finally,the benefits of Company A in the curved glass production quality improvement project are described,and the practical experience and guiding significance of implementing Six Sigma are summarized,so as to provide reference for other peers.At the same time,the limitations of this research are analyzed,and suggestions for further research direction are put forward.
