Primary school Chinese textbooks are an important basis for teacher teaching and student learning,which affects the humanistic literacy of primary school students to a certain extent,and the layout design is directly related to the quality of Chinese textbooks.As an important link in the composition of Chinese textbooks,layout design has the functions of expressing the author's intention,stimulating students 'interest in learning,cultivating students' imagination and aesthetic ability,and conveying cultural values.The People's Education Edition primary school Chinese textbooks are widely used in China.Their layout design lacks certain forward-looking and era characteristics.The layout design is conservative.The content of the illustrations is very consistent with the theme of the text.Although the style of the illustrations has improved compared to the previous The whole is still old,colorful but lacks innovation.This study uses the literature analysis method,case study method and interview survey method,based on the theoretical basis of children's physical and psychological development characteristics and laws,and takes the latest version of the People's Education Press third grade primary school language textbook as the research object,from the textbook unit The theme,unit composition,and text content are deconstructed and analyzed in three dimensions.The theme includes four aspects: nature,traditional culture,fable philosophy,and story life.Each unit is composed of a unit guide page,basic text,and after-school exercises.The composition is based on the national education laws and policies,the stage of physical and mental development of students,and the social and cultural needs.The illustration and layout design meet the functional characteristics of auxiliary text reading.Based on the four dimensions of layout design rules,general design principles,illustration design,selection of texts and illustrations,a systematic and comprehensive analysis of the layout of the textbook was carried out,and users were targeted to visit based on the analysis points To get the results of interview data and find design points to improve the reading experience,the overall design conception of the textbook is based on the design point.From the layout to the color to the fun and aesthetics,the overall redesign of the textbook is carried out.The textbook adopts story-based thinking as a whole.Story clues run through each unit to make reading interesting.The overall layout design is diverse in composition.Color matching respects the preference of lower-grade children for color under the premise of considering the use of visually impaired children.It is in line with the aesthetic and color preferences of children in the 9-12 age group.According to different themes of essays and corresponding types of illustrations,the fit of graphics and text is improved,which helps to realize the important function of auxiliary teaching.The design methods and design ideas provide a realistic reference for the layout design of textbooks.
