The drilling system is core of the deepwater semi-submerged platform, is fundamental facility for seabed oil gas exploitation. How to pick a set of high cost performance, high reliability drilling equipments and arrange them in limited platform space, to make sure they can be integrated and worked properly is a problem need to solve immediately. The key technology research on layout design of semi-submerged platform drilling system is studied in this paper, mainly include the following details:Referring to a typical well bore configuration, researched the drilling technology of dual derrick in two different conditions. Compared and analysed efficiency and economic feasibility of offline rig and dual derrick rig.According to the design target and structure of the drilling platform, design and detailed the layout principles of the drilling system on semi-submersible platform. Gave an air space centripetal method based on drilling craft and divided the platform into four major levels. In accordance with the different drilling operations, equipments were diveded into different functional modules.Optimized the equipments layout on drill floor based on the mathod which was step progressived and restricted by the project rules.The project restrict was the drilling craft and properties of fittings itselves. Conceptual design was done for drilling cabin and studied the advantages of centralized control.Calculated the amount of drilling tools, Optimized the layout of the main well site,subsea equipments module and mud system. The detail drafts of the layout were given.
