Research On The Costume Patterns Of YI Ethnic Minority In Shizong

As a traditional culture,costume patterns are internalized in the heart,externalized in the appearance,penetrated into life,and have a far-reaching influence.The Yi ethnic minority costumes patterns are the decorative figure and pattern with certain structural rules and style features on the Yi ethnic minority costumes and its accessories.It is accumulated by the Yi ethnic minority’s long term social production and life practice,with national and regional characteristics.Symbolic artistic tokens symbol.Shizong County surveyed by the author is located in the south of Qujing City,Yunnan Province.Due to its remote location and occlusion,the Yi ethnic minority costume culture is well preserved.The clothing culture distribution has four branches: White Yi,Dry Yi,Awu Yi and Black Yi Each branch of costume patterns have distinctive features,unique characteristics,and have research value.The Yi ethnic minority in this area are located dispersedly,which makes our research difficult.Therefore,they have not received corresponding attention and few systematic studies.In the context of a full-scale revival of traditional culture,collecting and analyzing a large number of samples of Yi ethnic minority costumes and patterns,recording and sorting have the meaning of protection and inheritance.By providing Zhuyuan Xiuyun,an Yi embroidery company,with a pattern redesign and application program,it is not only conducive to the spread of the Yi ethnic minority costume culture,but also allows the local Yi embroidered women to get rid of poverty and become rich and enter into a well-off society.devoting our limited efforts to the project of fighting against poverty.This research mainly uses field investigation and inductive summation methods.The author has visited Qujing city districts and counties for many times to conduct visits and investigations,the author learnd the distributions of villages and their cultural customs,with the assistance of local ethnic and religious affairs bureaus and township governments.On the basis of the settled research route,the author traveled through 16 villages in 4 towns,2 townships,and 2 streets.Filmed the Yi ethnic minority costume,recorded interview content,United extraction of patterns to obtain a large number of clear patterns;then classified the extracted patterns,discussed the internal constitution of patterns and the aesthetic thinking of the Yi ethnic minority from modeling and aesthetic characteristics,and analyzed the similarities and differences of costume patterns of various branches and their evolution process;Using the extraction and reconstruction method,the Yi ethnic minority costume patterns are used in clothing and daily life.After a lot of visits and investigations,the author collected 318 apparel samples in Shizong County and extracted 840 pattern elements.After sorting and analysis,the main opinions were formed:(1)Shizong Yi ethnic minority costume patterns were analyzed from the subject matter type and can be divided into plants Patterns,animal patterns,character patterns,geometric patterns and comprehensive patterns,among which mainly plant and animal patterns,are geometric in style and are distributed in various apparel products.(2)From the analysis of the cause of pattern modeling,it can be divided into the influence of inheritance,the acquisition of observation,the limitation of regionality and the fusion of interpenetration.A large number of patterns mainly take the family as a unit,which has been handed down from generation to generation.(3)From the analysis of pattern composition,it is divided into individual patterns,suitable patterns and continuous patterns.The individual patterns can be divided into symmetrical and balanced patterns,which are commonly seen in men’s jacket patch pockets;suitable patterns can be divided into filled patterns and corners.Patterns and fringe patterns are commonly seen at women’s waistbands and shoulder bags.Continuous patterns can be divided into two-sided continuous and four-sided continuous.The two-sided continuous distribution is the most widely distributed.It is commonly found on the edges of costume such as sleeves,skirts,and trousers.(4)From the analysis of the aesthetic characteristics of patterns,it can be divided into formal beauty and spiritual beauty,of which formal beauty can be summarized as symmetry and balance,change and unity,melody and rhythm;spiritual beauty can be summarized as the worship of nature,ancestry and reproduction.
