Research On Western Hunan Miao Embroidery's Innovative Application And Development Based On Non-genetic Inheritance

Miao embroidery is the classic of traditional embroidery of the Chinese ethnic minorities,the "no-word history book" of the Miao people,and an important part of the Chinese and even the world civilization.Since settling down in Hunan after the great migration,the Miao in west Hunan has been able to preserve the pure folk customs due to historical,political,geographical and other factors.However,with the continuous development and change of society,Miao people began to bid farewell to the original ecology and ancient lifestyle,Miao embroidery in western Hunan gradually faded out of people's vision with the folk customs,its beautiful embroidery skills,relying on decorative art language expressed by the group ideas and aesthetic consensus gradually lost.It was not until 2006 that Miao embroidery was listed on the national intangible cultural heritage list that is returned to people's vision and began to receive more and more attention.This paper focuses on the innovative development of Miao embroidery in western Hunan from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance.Firstly,starting from the analysis of the artistic expression of Miao embroidery in western Hunan.This paper unifies the literature review and field investigation to explore the relevant social,historical,geographical,aesthetic and other background factors,and finally returns to the intangible cultural heritage value of Miao embroidery in western Hunan,with both macro construction and microanalysis.Secondly,we should have a correct understanding of the protection principle of intangible cultural heritage.And then deeply explore the difficulties and causes of the loss of techniques,the disappearance of the spiritual core,the loss of artisans and market fatigue in the development of western Hunan Miao embroidery,to scientifically protect the Miao embroidery of intangible cultural heritage.Thirdly,taking design as the origin to conduct multi-disciplinary radiation,research Miao embroidery innovative development ideas:comprehensively understand Miao embroidery patterns,refine and re-create Miao embroidery elements,echo the era aesthetic;expand the application design of Miao embroidery and improve its practical value;the production and inheritance mode of Miao embroidery should be reformed to activate the vitality of Miao embroidery.Through the research on the Miao embroidery of intangible cultural heritage and the dynamic inheritance,we will continue the cultural blood of the Chinese nation,inherit the national culture,organically combine the traditional Chinese art with The Times,and contribute to the improvement of national cultural confidence and the building of the spiritual homeland of the Chinese nation.
