Research On Ship Pollution Prevention For Dandong Port

Dandong port is located in the center of northeast Asia economic circle and the eastern section of Bohai economic belt,and it is the northernmost international trading port of China’s coastline as well as the most convenient transportation corridor connecting Russia,Mongolia,South Korea and Japan.Dandong harbor area is the core port area,located at the mouth of the Yalu river estuary,with special geographical location;In recent years,the throughput of goods has increased year by year,which has led to the development of local economy.However,on the other hand,the increase of the number of ships also caused acertain degree of damage to the water environment.It is very necessary to study the anti-pollution counter measures of ships in Dandong port.In this paper,we analyze the pollution risks of ships ’scientifically and systematically.Based on the actual work of the author,this paper puts forward the prevention and control measures of Marine pollution in Dandong port area.Firstly,the pollution sources of ships in Dandong harbor area are cleared.According to the actual situation of the water,the pollution type of ship is divided into 24 types.There are mainly oil pollution,sewage pollution,air pollution and pollution control system and so on.Secondly,according to the China Classification Society’s《Guidelines for the Application of Integrated Safety Assessment using the theory of comprehensive safety assessment to analyze the frequency of water pollution caused by ship pollution and the damage degree caused by the systematic.There are three levels of risk areas:high risk area,middle risk area and low risk area.Finally according to different risk levels put forward the corresponding prevention and control of vessel pollution measures,reduce shipping to Dandong,district waters pollution and destruction,and protect the marine production and ecological environment,so as to realize the sustainable development of shipping and sea water environment.
