Competitiveness Evaluation Research Of Mining Capacity Cooperation Between Countries Along The "Belt And Road" And China

China is the world’s largest producer,consumer and trader of mineral products.It is one of the few large countries in the world with complete mineral resources and abundant total mineral resources.However,due to the huge population and development needs,China’s mineral resources are characterized by "low per capita occupancy,difficult independent supply,and extensive mining development",which seriously restricts the development of social economy.In order to solve the problems,since the "Belt and Road" initiative was proposed,China and the countries along the "Belt and Road" have carried out extensive international cooperation in mining capacity.Through cooperation,China’s urgent need for mineral resources has been met,and the core competitiveness of mining companies has been enhanced.Practice shows that deepening international cooperation is the useful way to promote the development of China mining industry.This paper takes the international mining capacity cooperation under the “Belt and Road” initiative as a background,takes countries along the “Belt and Road” as research units,and uses the literature data method,empirical research method,Dephiel method,entropy value method,AHP and fuzzy synthesis to analyze the competitiveness of mining capacity cooperation between the countries along the “Belt and Road” and China.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)China’s resource industry needs to be transformed and upgraded,and capacity cooperation is urgently needed.The countries along the “Belt and Road” are rich in mineral resources,with abundant reserves of copper,gold,nickel,cobalt,bauxite,iron ore,potash,phosphorus,oil,natural gas and other resources.They have great resource potential and form a good complement to China that lay a material foundation for China to cooperate with it in production capacity.(2)The economic level of the countries along the “Belt and Road” is relatively low,and the spatial difference is vey large.However,the economy of the countries is showing steady growth and the economic level is significantly improved.In the past five years,the average GDP growth rate of the top ten countries has exceeded 6%,mainly in Southeast Asia and Central Asia.In general,the countries have a rapid development speed,ample room for development,and strong development will,which has laid a good economic foundation for cooperation in mining capacity.(3)Although Mongolia’s economic development is backward and its infrastructure is not perfect,the competitiveness of mining capacity cooperation is strong.This is mainly due to its high mineral resource endowment,large reserves of coal,nonferrous metals and non-metallic minerals.China cooperates with it to not only import minerals,but also export excess capacity such as steel and iron by participating in its infrastructure construction.(4)Russia where’s mineral resources is at the forefront of the world has extremely Competitiveness in mining capacity cooperation with China.And the country’s imports and exports of mineral resources have remained stable.At present,China and Russia are interested in strengthening trade cooperation.In the future,they can strengthen the infrastructure construction of supporting mining projects and expand their cooperation advantages.(5)The evaluation model of mining capacity cooperation competitiveness proposed in this paper is scientific and reasonable.The evaluation results are in line with reality and have a wide range of application.It can be further used as a theoretical model for identifying the advantages and disadvantages of mining capacity cooperation.It provides theoretical reference value.
