Urbanization Level And Ecological Environment In Mianyang Research On Carrying Capacity Coordination

Since the reform and opening up,China’s urbanization process has accelerated significantly.As of the end of 2017,the urbanization rate of China’s permanent population reached 58.52%,which is in the stage of rapid urbanization.The traditional extensive and expansive urbanization model has brought about "urban diseases" and other problems,including inadequate resource utilization and uneven distribution,serious environmental pollution,reduced ecological environment carrying capacity,and the urban-rural dual structure is still prominent..For sustainable development,a balanced relationship between urbanization and the ecological environment should be established to coordinate the development of the two.Mianyang City,as a southwestern city,also has these environmental problems in the process of urbanization.Therefore,it is particularly important to explore the coordinated relationship between the urbanization level of Mianyang City and the ecological environment carrying capacity.To this end,this article explores the current urbanization level,ecological environmental carrying capacity,and coordination between the two cities in Mianyang,which will be beneficial to the sustainable development of urbanization in the future,and provides reference for other scholars to conduct relevant research and government policy formulation in the general direction.Guide the practice of coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment.This paper takes 9 districts and counties in Mianyang city as research objects,constructs a suitability evaluation index system,and uses entropy method and linear weighting method to calculate the urbanization level index,ecological environment carrying capacity index of each district and county in Mianyang city from 2008 to 2017 Coupling degree and coordination degree,and using Arcgis 10.6 software for spatial visual expression,the characteristics of the spatial and temporal pattern of each district and county are obtained.The specific research conclusions are as follows:(1)The urbanization level of Mianyang city generally shows a volatility upward trend and presents three stages of change;there are obvious differences in the spatial distribution of the urbanization level of each district and county,and the overall trend of gradually decreasing from the center to the periphery,According to the urbanization level index value of each district and county,it can be obtained that the areas with higher urbanization level indexes are concentrated in the middle,including urban areas and Jiangyou City,and the areas with lower urbanization levels are mainly concentrated in Pingwu County and southeast in the northwest.Yanting County,etc.(2)The overall ecological environment carrying capacity of Mianyang City shows a volatility downward trend,with a small decline and three stages of change;there is a large difference in the spatial distribution of the ecological environment carrying capacity of various districts and counties,showing the northwest The trend of decreasing in the southeast is that Pingwu County and Beichuan County have higher ecological environment carrying capacity indexes,while Zitong County have lower ecological carrying capacity indexes.(3)Overall,the coordination of urbanization level and ecological environment carrying capacity in Mianyang City shows that the coupling degree value of Mianyang City is relatively high,stable between 0.981-1.000,and is in a high-level coupling stage;the coordination degree value of Mianyang City is 0.557-0.597 Floating between,is on the verge of imbalance.The coupling value of each district and county is obviously different,the specific value is between 0.051-1.000,including 4 levels of low-level coupling stage,antagonism,running-in and high-level coupling;the coordination value of each district and county varies between 0.140-0.790,including moderate There are 4 levels: coordination phase,imminent imbalance phase,moderate imbalance phase,and severe imbalance phase.From the perspective of the type of coordination degree,Mianyang City as a whole is in the lagging type of urbanization level in most years.During the study period of each district and county,the coordination degree level of most years also belongs to the lagging type of urbanization level,and the overall urbanization level lags behind the ecological environment carrying capacity.
