In recent years,with the rapid development of economy and the improvement of urbanization level,the increasingly prominent ecological environment problem has become an important factor affecting the sustainable development of social economy.Therefore,it is more important to study the ecological carrying capacity of the region.The strategy of the rise of the central region has made the central region develop rapidly in recent years,and the level of urbanization is constantly improving,which is bound to have an impact on the ecosystem.Therefore,this paper studies the status of the ecological carrying capacity and four subsystems,including ecological elasticity,resource carrying capacity,environmental carrying capacity and socio-economic coordination capacity in the central region,and further explores the coordination relationship between ecological carrying capacity and urbanization.Firstly,according to the relevant theories and following certain principles,this paper constructs the evaluation index system of ecological carrying capacity in the central region.Secondly,the weight of each index is determined by the entropy weight method.The evaluation value of ecological carrying capacity and each subsystem of six provinces in the central region from 1998 to 2017 are calculated by TOPSIS model,and the time series evolution analysis and horizontal comparative study are carried out.Then,the evaluation index system of urbanization level in the central region is established,and the urbanization level of six provinces in the central region from 1998 to 2017 is calculated by the same method.Next,the coupling degree and coupling coordination degree between ecological carrying capacity and urbanization of six provinces in the central region are calculated by using coupling degree and coupling coordination degree model,and time series evolution analysis and horizontal comparative study are carried out respectively.The results show that from 1998 to 2017,although the increasing process of ecological carrying capacity in the central provinces is tortuous,and even falls into a cycle of rising and falling,it is in a state of growth on the whole.At the same time,in the five years selected in the horizontal comparison,there are significant differences in the ecological carrying capacity of the central provinces in the central region in each year.Although there are some fluctuations in the coupling degree and coupling coordination degree of ecological carrying capacity and urbanization in the central provinces,they are all developing towards a good situation.Finally,according to the results of the study and the actual situation of the central provinces,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the ecological carrying capacity of the central provinces,realize the coordinated development between the ecological carrying capacity and urbanization,and provide some reference for the future development of the central region.
