The transformation of resource-based enterprises has always been one of the difficult problems in global economic and social development.The common characteristics of resource-based enterprises are that they thrive because of abundant resources and decline because of the depletion of resources.Coal production enterprises are typical resource-based enterprises.In recent years,as the state’s supply-side reform has intensified,the development of coal enterprises has faced many bottlenecks.In particular,the 19 th CPC National Congress has proposed the overall deployment of capacity removal,inventory removal,deleveraging,cost reduction,and short-selling.Coal enterprises are optimizing production capacity.It is also faced with issues such as basing on limited resources,planning for transformation and development,and seeking new growth points for benefits.As a century-old coal mine,the Kailuan Group is currently facing a series of problems such as the depletion of coal resources.In particular,with the end of the golden age of coal industry development,the coal market is in a grim situation,and the adjustment of environmental protection and industrial structure from the National to the provincial and municipal levels has intensified.Kailuan Group is also facing the research topic of how to speed up the strategic transformation based on resources.Taking kailuan group company as the research object,taking strategic management theory as the research tool,combining domestic and foreign literature and related basic theories,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the internal and external environment facing kailuan group,and seeks new ideas for transformation and development.Firstly,the research background,significance,research framework and research method are stated around the topic;Second,it summarizes the relevant basic theories,and uses strategic transformation,diversification,core competitiveness,and business combination theory as theoretical tools to lay the theoretical foundation for subsequent analysis.Thirdly,the strategic analysis tools such as PEST analysis and Porter’s five-force model analysis are used to analyze the external environment of the Kailuan Group and identify key opportunities and threats.Fourth,using the BCG matrix to analyze the current situation of Kailuan Group’s business portfolio,using the VRIO model to identify the core competitiveness of Kailuan Group;Fifth,SWOT is used to analyze the matching of key strategic elements and the optional strategic direction.Based on this,it clarifies the strategic transformation goals of the Kailuan Group and puts forward a transformation implementation plan and safeguards that are suitable for the sustainable and stable development of the Kailuan Group.The conclusion of this paper can provide useful reference and inspiration for the strategy and sustainable development of Kailuan Group Corporation and other resource-based enterprises. |
