With the continuous growth of the transportation industry,the mileage of tunnels of China is increasing rapidly.However,compared with the general road sections,the loss of traffic accidents caused by the special environment of the tunnels becomes more and more serious,and the safety problems cannot be ignored.Based on the correlation analysis of simulation platform and extension theory,this paper studies the safety of highway tunnel from the perspective of driving safety.Based on the analysis of the evaluation system constructed by various factors,the tunnel safety evaluation model is constructed,and the actual tunnel case is selected for analysis and evaluation,verifying the practical operability of the evaluation model.The specific research content includes the following four aspects:(1)Analyzing the main contents affecting the safety of highway tunnels from five aspects: traffic characteristics,firefighting factors,traffic facilities factors,tunnel environmental factors,and other influencing factors,And has carried on the comprehensive carding analysis to these contents.(2)According to the specific contents affecting the safety of highway tunnels,based on the relevant requirements of the driving safety evaluation system,a more comprehensive and systematic evaluation index system has been established,and 5 first-level indicators and 24 second-level indicators of the system are analyzed in detail,such as weight determination and independence test.(3)Taking the actual tunnel as an example,using Vissim software,Pathfinder software and VMSim simulation platform to simulate the whole tunnel,and analyze traffic volume,cart coefficient,CO emission,tunnel and adjacent interchange intersection spacing and tunnel evacuation targetedly.The simulation results and relevant normative standards are used as the evaluation basis to construct evaluation scoring model for the relevant indicators,and formulate the evaluation criteria which are applied to the safety evaluation finally.(4)Constructing a multi-level extension evaluation model based on extension theory,and selecting the tunnel instance to carry out the safety evaluation analysis based on the evaluation system and evaluation model established in this paper.It is finally determined that the safety level of the tunnel is a very safe level and has certain security,which is consistent with the actual safety of the tunnel.It is also verified that evaluation index system constructed this paper and selected multi-level extension evaluation method have certain applicability in the tunnel traffic safety evaluation.Finally,specific improvement measures can be proposed based on the evaluation results of the method.
