Cartoon image plays an important role in cultural promotion and economic development.The rapid development of new media provides a platform for the innovation and development of cartoon characters.Today,with the rapid development of information,cartoon image,as a kind of popular culture,can interact with social culture actively and effectively,and it is also an effective way of cultural promotion.Because of its popular and open characteristics,it is more easily accepted by people and widely used in all aspects of the design field.Inner Mongolia is the main birthplace and inheritance place of grassland culture in north China.The economic development level in different historical stages,as well as the collision between nomadic and farming cultures,all of these factors affect the development of regional food culture in Inner Mongolia.The long history of Inner Mongolia formed a unique regional food culture.This paper mainly studies the various possibilities of cartoon image design and application in the promotion of regional food culture in Inner Mongolia.First of all,the author through the case analysis of the present domestic and foreign popular fellow brother diao,kumamoto bear,uncle,etc by analyzing features of cartoon image,sort out the outstanding cartoon image should have the ability to sustainable provide differentiated content,unique and distinctive character set,interactive is strong,can constantly develop commercial derivative value and entertaining can meet the demand of the psychological characteristics,provides the practical basis for the design of late.Secondly,the status quo of the promotion of regional diet culture in Inner Mongolia wasinvestigated and analyzed through a questionnaire survey.The results showed that the promotion method of regional diet culture in Inner Mongolia was single,and the popularization and development of regional diet and culture in Inner Mongolia were insufficient.Aiming at these problems,the author introduced cartoon image design into the promotion of regional food culture in Inner Mongolia,and verified the feasibility of cartoon image in the promotion of regional food culture in Inner Mongolia through the application advantages of cartoon image.Explore the principles of cartoon image to promote the regional food culture in Inner Mongolia: based on the regional principles of Inner Mongolia food culture,the principle of highlighting the visual art effect of the regional food in Inner Mongolia,the principle of using new media platform to present diversified promotion methods,providing entry point and design expression direction for the design and promotion practice.Practice to promote the final design part,according to the research goal and the basis of previous theoretical research,the author created a "food in Inner Mongolia" eating family series cartoon image,through these cartoon characters in illustration,cartoon "Mongolian food said,in the form of specialty food production way in Inner Mongolia and the history behind the story,at the same time choose after 90 groups to participate in more weibo,WeChat platform for Inner Mongolia regional diet culture promotion.Cartoon image was applied to the design practice of Inner Mongolia regional diet culture promotion,satisfy express desire strong,good at accepting new things after 90 group know about Inner Mongolia regional food culture in the process of personalized needs,to the Inner Mongolia regional diet culture lead to more possibilities.
