As the cleanest fossil energy, natural gas consumption is increasingly valued by the state.Since China’s implementation of regional differences in energy policy,China’s regional natural gas consumption differences gradually expanded. The construction of natural gas pipeline network has also been advancing.Domestic and foreign scholars to study the consumption of natural gas is often from the comparison of national or world’s perspective, but the relationship of the natural gas consumption and pipe network distribution is lack of research. This paper summarizes the regional differences of natural gas consumption, and it selects the natural gas consumption demand and the statistics of gas pipeline network from 2005 to 2014.It distributes the natural gas pipeline network as the independent variable, and puts forward a series of theoretical assumptions about the difference between natural gas consumption and the distribution of natural gas pipeline network.Using the empirical research method to discuss the relationship between the two systems, and the results show that:The distribution of natural gas pipeline in the eastern, middle and western areas has a positive influence on the natural gas consumption trend. The distribution of natural gas pipeline network in the eastern and middle areas has a positive effect on the consumption intensity and the western areas opposite. The distribution of natural gas pipelines in the eastern and middle areas has a positive effect on the concentration of consumption. The western areas are the opposite. So a series of countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.Promote the construction of natural gas pipeline network, improve urban and rural natural gas pipeline network transmission and distribution system and to improve the proportion of gas population;optimize energy structure. To make the eastern areas and the middle areas’ natural gas consumption growth model more reasonable.Co-ordinate the coordinated development of the eastern, central and western areas, narrow the regional gap, improve the ability of China’s natural gas storage peak peaking to protect the national energy security. |
