Research On The Relationship Between Environmental Behavior And Operating Performance Of Cruise Companies

In recent years,the cruise industry has developed rapidly,and with the development of the cruise industry,cruise ships have become the main source of increasing Marine pollution.Port city of cruise industry to realize sustainable development,green in their own established comprehensive pollution prevention facilities and corresponding policy,also cannot leave the cruise company cooperate with good environmental behavior.Cruise lines the environmental behavior of the effects on the environment is huge,the bad environmental behavior will cause pollution of the Marine environment and Marine resources drying up,excessive use of environmental energy intensive production mode,high emissions,high pollution will seriously restrict the sustainability of human economic and social development.Therefore,this paper tries to study the cruise company's operating performance and the correlation of environmental behavior research,find out the relation between the two,provides suggestions for cruise lines to better for the environment behavior.Research of this paper to carry out the process mainly includes: first,this article first through scientifically combing the existing relevant enterprise environmental behavior and corporate performance in two aspects of the research literature,summarized the current on the connotation of enterprise environmental behavior and business performance,evaluation standard and the relationship between the main research results,for the cruise company's environmental behavior and operating performance study has laid a solid theoretical foundation;Second,on the basis of literature review,the author cruise company environment behavior study of relevant information,the present situation of the environmental behavior of cruise lines classification comb,it can be divided into energy and emissions,water management and waste management and other aspects,comprehensively introduces the cruise company's efforts to improve the environment;Third,the author section combing cruise lines in the last chapter,on the basis of environmental behavior,combined with the data can be collected and availability,choose environmental behavior index of six cruise lines were extracted,and then using the factor analysis method to cruise company's environmental behavior has carried on the preliminary analysis of the cruise company environmental behavior index integrated into two factors;Fourth,to cruise to introduce the general situation of the company's operating performance,on the basis of the same using the factor analysis method,to extract out of nine cruise companies operating performance indicators throu gh analyzing three comprehensive strong factor;Fifth,the operating performance and environmental behavior of cruise lines,on the basis of the preliminary analysis,through correlation analysis and regression analysis method are analyzed on the relationship between the two,the final results are obtained.The study found that the operating performance of cruise companies was positively correlated with environmental behaviors,and there was negative correlation.Specifically,the company's profitability factor and environmental management system factor show significant negative correlation at 1% level.Market value factors present positive correlation factor and environmental management system and measures profitability factor and environment factor present positive correlation,the market value factor and environmental measures factor present positive correlation,but not significantly;The operational capacity factor is not related to the environmental factor.Finally,according to the results,the author put forward in view of the cruise lines the environmental protection department and the cruise visitors advice etc.,and on this basis,for this article has carried on the summary,shortcomings,for the future research are prospected.
