Research On The Impact Of Environmental Institution Pressure,Corporate Environmental Innovation On Corporate Performance

From the 1990s to the present,corporate social responsibility has caused a research boom in Chinese academic circles.In recent years,with the rapid economic development of various countries,environmental problems have been severely challenged.How to enable enterprises to effectively protect the environment in the wave of rapid global economic development has become a hot topic for academic research.The environmental innovation behavior of enterprises is generally considered to not only be able to respond well to the external environmental institutional,but also to effectively improve the environmental performance and economic performance of the enterprise,so as to achieve a win-win situation for enterprise performance and corporate reputation.Although the environmental innovation behavior of a company can help the company grow,the investment in environmental protection aspects such as product process and product design is relatively large,and the realization economic benefits requires a long-term process.Therefore,companies seldom actively invest and innovate in environmental protection.When the external environment of the company exerts environmental institutional pressure on the company,the company will actively innovate in order to obtain legitimacy,consistent with the requirements of the system.At the same time,the contingency factors of the senior management within the company will also help the company better recognize the pressure in the external environment,and encourage the company to carry out environmental innovation.Exploring environmental innovation behaviors has important guiding significance for environmental protection and the improvement of corporate performance.The research is mainly based on institutional theories and high-level theories.It studies the relationship between institutional pressure and corporate performance,and explores the mediating effect of corporate environmental innovation behavior between the two,and executive support in the relationship between institutional pressure and environmental innovation behavior.Inter-regulatory effect.The study took manufacturing companies in Zhejiang,Jiangsu,and Shandong as the research samples,and conducted descriptive statistical analysis,reliability and validity analysis,correlation analysis,structural equation models and regression analysis on statistical data through statistical software SPSS25.0 and AMOS21.0.The following research conclusions are drawn:(1)The compulsory pressure,normative pressure and imitation pressure in the institutional pressure have a significant positive impact on the environmental performance and economic performance of the enterprise;(2)The environmental innovation behavior of the enterprise has a partial mediating role between the compulsory pressure and the environmental performance of the enterprise,and a complete mediating role between the compulsory pressure and the economic performance.At the same time,the environmental innovation has a partial mediating role between normative pressure and corporate environmental performance and economic performance,and a partial mediating role between imitation pressure and corporate environmental performance and economic performance;(3)Executive support adjustment The relationship between compulsory pressure,normative pressure,imitation pressure and environmental innovation.The research conclusions of this article have very important guide significance for corporate practice.Because of the institutional pressure in the external environment,it will promote the environmental innovation of the enterprise,and then improve the environmental performance of the enterprise and the economic performance of the enterprise.Therefore,the state should improve environmental laws and regulations,enhance legal binding and the initiative and enthusiasm of enterprises in environmental innovation;companies should broaden talent recruitment channels and improve corporate treatment.Attract environmental scientific research personnel to join the company,carry out product innovation and process optimization,drive environmental innovation within the company,and stimulate innovation motivation;corporate managers should enhance their own environmental protection awareness and actively support environmental innovation,focusing on benefits In addition to the pressure of stakeholders and the market environment,we must also pay attention to the importance of the institutional environment for the development of enterprises.
