| Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) is appeared from United States in the early of20th century, which caused widespread concern and attention among the public, academiaand the international community. Corporate Environmental Responsibility is an important partof the enterprise to bear social responsibility, it is enterprise self-assumed responsibility insocial pubic interest for environmental protection. With the acceleration of industrialization,the deteriorating global environment, such as resource depletion, environmental pollution andecological damage. the issue has caused people to reflect on their own lifestyles andproduction operations, thus environmental responsibility as a important part of corporatesocial responsibility is also increasingly attracted widespread attention. Third Plenary Sessionof the Party’s eighth emphasized building environment-friendly and resource-saving societyand the path of sustainable development, effectively play the role of corporate environmentalsocial responsibility has important practical significance for building a socialist harmonioussociety and realize the Chinese dream. in view of the studies at home and abroad, a lot ofresearch about the corporate social responsibility, but there aren’t too many case studiesregarding to enterprises fulfilling environment responsibility. based on corporateenvironmental responsibility theory origins comb,this paper is to take HP company fulfillingcorporate environmental responsibility as case study.Full text structure is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction whichIntroduces the research background and significance of corporate environmentalresponsibility, reviewed on the relevant literature and corporate environmental socialresponsibility theory, as well as proposed research content and methods. The second part,development course that HP fulfills corporate environmental responsibility. It describes thecompany’s background and summary of development, three phases of corporate environmentalresponsibility developing; the third part, it introduces current status of HP corporateenvironmental responsibility, which includes the realizing methods,the challenges during fulfilling corporate environment responsibility,as well as the countermeasures underchallenges. The fourth part, it analyses the mechanism and effectiveness that HP activelyfulfills corporate environmental responsibility. The fifth part, it provides the revelation basedon the HP case analysis. Finally, it comes to the conclusion. It wins competitive advantage andimproves competitiveness when HP actively perform environmental responsibility intoproduction and operation during economic activity, therefore HP can achieve sustainabledevelopment initiative. HP satisfied customers with innovative, high-quality, environmentallyfriendly products and services, and in an environmentally responsible way to conduct business.HP always takes care of public interest, to provide customers with value environmentalsolutions, which leads HP to the achievements of influence and leadership position in theindustry. Chinese enterprises to strengthen the sense of responsibility is the worldenvironmental needs, enterprises can achieve sustainable development by commitment tocorporate social environment responsibility combining with corporate business developmentstrategy. This study is to be an investigation and supplement on the research of socialenvironmental responsibility. The idea is to provide some elicitation and reference to those ingrowing of Chinese enterprises to play environmental responsibility better. |
