There is a saying in Kazakh that is widely known: "It is better to have no food in a day,not a day without tea." Drink milk tea is a stereotype of the Kazakh people,who are also pleased to be labeled with sign.From the moment people walked into the yurt,milk tea was almost accompanied by all the social activities of the Kazakhs.Whether it is hospitality etiquette in daily life or a grand festival celebration,milk tea can be seen everywhere.When leaving for other places,most Kazakh will always carry a bag of milk tea powder in their suitcases.Kazakh people's food preference is filled with hometown flavor.Is it possible to forge a community through taste? If so,what happens to milk tea in its transition from a physical entity to symbol full of people's embodied cognition?This paper takes milk tea as an example to describe and explain the interaction and influence of milk tea and Kazakh in daily life through the field investigation of Xiaoliushu Village in Yili,Xinjiang.The local knowledge in various scenarios is to educate children,various ceremonies,Gifts and other aspects are expressed through people's perceptions.These knowledge become important factors for mutual recognition and form group identity and maintenance rules.From the perspective of the social life of "things",the article discusses how milk tea is used by Kazakhs in all aspects of life,and ultimately how it promotes the Kazakh cultural identity.The first chapter of the article tells people about milk tea from the origin of milk tea,its production methods and related etiquette.The second chapter is about the Kazakh people's unique emotional paranoia from the three groups of nomads,settlers and wanderers.This emotional paranoia has penetrated into every detail of people's life and even affected people's daily life.In the process of dealing with others.The theme of Chapter 3 is the influence of milk tea on the relationship between people in Kazakh society and the personal feelings,values and attitudes embodied in drinking milk tea.The connection between the Kazakhs and the Kazakh people also contributed to the connection of various relationships among the Kazakh society in terms of tribes,neighborhoods,families,and people-people relations.The fourth chapter further illustrates that milk tea has been given different cultural significance by the Kazakhs in different situations.The fifth chapter demonstrates the performance and dynamic changes of milk tea and cultural identity from the aspects of language expression and cultural awareness.Finally,it is concluded that the experience of this unique feeling of milk tea for Kazakhs is internalized as a boundary of self-cultural identity.This article traces the life course of milk tea,pays attention to the role of milk tea,explores what kind of social life milk tea has gained in Kazakh daily life,and most importantly,what is the life story about human life behind its social life.This paper attempts to explore the individualized taste experience,emotional expression and group identity perception through the anthropological investigation of Kazakh milk tea.As the text carrying the Kazakh culture,milk tea is a communication system in the taste group.Kazakh people use this special eating habit to establish a perceived society and express cultural on this basis.
