The general contract of EPC, namely Engineering-Procurement-Construction general contract, refers to the contract management mode of the general contractor according to the contract signed with the investor or owner for the design, purchase, construction and operation of the project. With the booming development of EPC general contract mode project management in China, it has claimed an ever-growing share in engineering field.More and more industries and experts begin to research implementation strategy and management theory of EPC general contract mode project management.Cement industry implements EPC general contract mode project management relatively later in China, whose business volume is growing. While at the same time, its management level is far lagging behind the international and domestic chemistry, metallurgy and other industries. It's necessary to strengthen relevant management theory and practical level. KS has engaged in cement industry EPC general contract project since 2008, which has been ten years so far.During this period, the first two batches of general contracting projects of the company has successfully passed the warranty period, and the third batch of general contracting projects are being implemented. At present, KS is reforming EPC general contract project management from "Rule of man" to "Institutionalization" and the management level is striding forward toward "Fine management" from "Extensive". In this thesis,Haiyan South Cement Company Haihe combined transport and resources comprehensive utilization project is regarded as the model of the company's third batch projects, which carries the burden of above-mentioned reform and has great significance.This thesis combines the theoretical analysis with the actual project research, and summarizes the ideas and methods of management practices and advanced management methods. It summarizes the research and application status of EPC general contracting mode at home and abroad. Taking Haiyan South Cement Company Haihe combined transportation and resource comprehensive utilization project as an example, this thesis analyzes the needs and problems and challenges of Haiyan Southern project, as well as the current situation of KS company's project management and the specific capabilities needed to be improved.Through the planning and summary of specific implementation strategies and methods, we discuss the problems and deficiencies of project management in China, especially the EPC general contracting mode of KS company, and put forward some initiatives to achieve innovation and innovation at the project level under the premise of ensuring the completion of the project contract performance. At the same time through the analysis of characteristics of five stage design institute transition to engineering company development model, put forward to enhance the ability level of project management system, project human organization and other series of the company's initiatives, the smooth implementation of these measures in turn further to protect the project case and follow-up project. The purpose is to strengthen the accumulation of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in order to continuously improve the level of project management of EPC general contracting mode of KS company,and also hope to improve the research level in this field.
