With the continuous improvement of refining technology,the continuous optimization and updating of equipment on production line,the more transparent gold price and the gradual flattening of the industry and other factors,the income level of single gram of work fee in refining and purification business shows a downward trend.Gold refining products are standard gold ingots No.1 and No.2 which can be traded and delivered by domestic(mainly Shanghai Gold Exchange)and international(especially London Gold and Silver Market Association).The finished products themselves do not have much difference.Therefore,besides brand effect,the competition of gold refining enterprises is mainly cost competition.TZG Company is a private enterprise,mainly engaged in gold and silver refining,processing,import and export trade and other business.The company is a qualified supplier of gold ingots to the Shanghai Gold Exchange,a member of the London Gold and Silver Market Association,a qualified refiner of gold ingots and silver ingots,and a qualified supplier of standard gold ingots to the Shanghai Futures Exchange.In recent years,with the rising price of gold,the company’s gold refining business has increased sharply,but the refining business profit is losing money.In this paper,TZG’s gold refining business is selected as the research object,and its cost and production data are analyzed by quantitative analysis method.It is found that the comprehensive loss cost accounts for more than 70% of the marginal cost,and the comprehensive loss rate of TZG is obviously higher than that of benchmarking enterprises in the same industry.In addition to the obsolete production process and equipment,the main reason for this situation is the management of gold refining business.The company’s gold refining business management has various problems,such as the group positioning the company as a cost center,which affects the company’s lower awareness of cost control,unreasonable production team arrangement,low comprehensive recovery rate of gold refining,and so on.In this paper,observation method is used to track and familiarize with the production process of gold refining in 24 hours and the standard operation process(SOP)of gold refining.At the same time,case study method is used to find four production links with serious loss: water quenching links,aqua regia gold links,reduction links and tail gas treatment links.Suggestions are made for SO refining production.P is optimized and 5S management is implemented in the management of production site.Performance appraisal is embedded in refined SOP optimization and on-site 5S management.It can not only evaluate the performance results of the implementation of the optimization scheme,but also feedback information to the front-end in the form of results,which can adjust the implementation of the optimization scheme.In content,this paper mainly includes six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,purpose,significance,research content,methods and so on.Chapter 2 is the theoretical basis and research summary.It mainly introduces the relevant theoretical basis and industry situation from SOP,gold refining,performance appraisal and 5S management.Chapter 3: The analysis of the current situation of gold refining management in TZG company.It mainly introduces the process of gold refining in TZG company,and puts forward some questions based on the analysis of historical production data and cost data analysis.Chapter IV puts forward specific TZG company gold refining business management optimization program.The fifth chapter evaluates the effectiveness,mainly using actual data to prove the correctness of the optimization scheme of management measures.Chapter Six is a summary of the research contents and expectations.The purpose of this paper is to start with the understanding and analysis of the current management status of TZG gold refining business,reorganize the standard operation process of the company’s existing gold refining,and put forward reasonable SOP optimization scheme: strengthen the control of key nodes in gold refining production process,refine operation,lean production,at the same time,carry out 5S management on the production site,and guarantee a series of management relying on performance appraisal.The implementation of the measures should be put on the ground to improve the management level of refining business so as to improve the comprehensive recovery rate of refining,thereby creating profits for enterprises to save costs.
