The property of C410 resin for adsorption gold from gold bearing chloridesolution and desorption gold has been studied. The effects of sorption time,acidity,gold concentration and temperature on the gold adsorption of the resinwere investigated. The effects of time and thiourea concentration on desorptiongold were also studied. The both adsorptive and desorbing rate can reach over 99%under the proper conditions.The performance using different extrations,including MIBK,DBC,DIBK,to extract gold from gold solution was investigated. The effects of goldconcentration,pH,extractant concentration,diluent and retention time on goldextraction were investigated. The system is selective with respect to the extration ofa number of metals. It was found that 100% MIBK extractant at O/A ratio of1∶1 could extract more than 99% of gold from the gold solution at the standardleaching condition(2mg/ml the gold solution,[H+]1. 0 mol/L)in 10 min. Theloading capacity and selectivity of the gold Extractant were also studied.Focus on some short coming sexistintheeletro refining of gold,thepaperpresent an mew hytrometallurgy in refining gold.An experimental study of refininggold is made,the experimental results shou that the recovery of gold come upto99. 99%,the purity of gold come up to 99. 99%. The characteristics of technologyinclude:the technological process is simple;the operating condition of technologyis easily mastered;having less pollution;the cycle of production is very short andthe deposition of gold is less.
