Research On Embroidery Skills Of Laer Mountain Platform

Laer Mountain Platform is located at the junction of Northwest Hunan Province and Songtao Miao Autonomous County of Guizhou Province.Because of its unique geographical environment,the Miao embroidery in Mount Laer has a long history and splendid culture.It is an everlasting and beautiful spray in the long history of the Miao people.In addition,the Miao people do not have their own words.Therefore,the Miao people place their national culture in embroidery in the form of embroidery.The embroidery of the Miao family involves many aspects,such as clan belief,historical migration,totem worship,harmonious coexistence between man and nature,and the pursuit of freedom,equality and a better life.Miao embroidery on Mount Laer Platform mainly serves people’s life needs and traditional folk activities.It can not only meet the practical needs,but also has a strong aesthetic.These embroidery cultures are rich in details,exquisite craftsmanship and various themes and patterns.At the same time,these embroideries are the display of Miao women’s wisdom and talent.It not only reposes the rich emotions of Miao women,but also embodies the strong connotation of national cultureand folk custom.As an important part of Miao embroidery,Miao embroidery in Laer Mountain Platform enriches the diversity and regionality of Miao embroidery,which has been handed down from mother to daughter,mother-in-law to daughter-in-law,relatives,friends and neighbors from generation to generation.This thesis focuses on the production techniques and artistic features of Miao embroidery works on the Laer Mountains platform,and adopts the methods of literature research,field investigation and interview to sort out and analyze the local documents,interviews and exchanges of folk artists and the real objects of Miao embroidery on the Laer Mountains platform.Firstly,this thesis combs the historical origin,geographical distribution,application category and cultural connotation of Miao embroidery in Laer Mountain platform.Secondly,this thesis elaborates the production technology of Miao embroidery in detail,including the selection of appliances and materials,the recording of process flow,the commonly used types of needling and the application of each needling method,in order to draw a needling diagram and to make a deep analysis of the actual operation of needling method.Moreover,this thesis combs the commonly used themepatterns of Mount Laer Platform in detail,and elaborates the regional characteristics,cultural connotation,symbolic significance and application scope of the patterns in detail.At the same time,on the basis of thematic patterns,this thesis also analyses the artistic characteristics of Miao embroidery works,and analyses them from three aspects: the shape characteristics of patterns,the form of patterns and the rules of color application.Finally,in order to better protect,inherit and develop the Miao embroidery on Laer Mountain platform,this thesis puts forward relevant suggestions and ideas.Furthermore,the author hopes to promote the Miao embroidery,an ancient skill,to get better development while passing on from generation to generation.
