Analysis And Research On The Artistic Style Of Song Brocade Patterns

The Song brocade was formed in Song Dynasty and inherited and developed in Ming and Qing Dynasties.It is a traditional silk variety in Suzhou and has been given the reputation of "inch size gold" and "the crown of rich brocade".Due to historical changes and industry adjustments,the traditional skill of Song brocade has declined several times.Later,with the state’s emphasis on traditional skills,the establishment of relevant institutions and their own efforts,the artistic and cultural values condensed in the Song brocade really got the attention of society.At present,the research on Song brocade mainly focuses on the historical evolution,traditional pattern,organizational structure and horizontal comparison with other brocades,while the research on Song brocade pattern art style is relatively scarce.Based on the analysis and research of the artistic style of Song brocade and its patterns,this paper combs the cultural background,development vein and main characteristics of Song brocade from a macro perspective,analyses the artistic style of Song brocade patterns in detail,and combines the development situation and cultural value of Song brocade,explores how modern design breaks the traditional thinking pattern,makes Song brocade patterns better integrate with modern fashion,and realize the living protection of the song brocade pattern.
