Research On Measurement And Evaluation Of Beijing Low Carbon Economy Development Level Based On SEM Model

With the rapid development of the economy,people’s requirements for the quality of the living environment are getting higher and higher.With the large amount of greenhouse gas emissions,the problem of climate warming affects people’s survival and safety,and the development of low-carbon economy is receiving more and more attention.As the political,economic and cultural center of China,Beijing shoulders the role of developing a low-carbon economy in the development of low-carbon economy.The Outline of the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Beijing clearly states that Beijing should be built into a green ecological homeland and continuously improve the level of low carbon economy development in Beijing.Therefore,studying the development of low-carbon economy has important practical significance.Under this background,this thesis reviews the concerned literatures and research results and focuses on the model of the measure and evaluation system of low-carbon economic development level as well as taking Beijing as an example.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the relevant theories of low carbon economy development and defines the scope of low carbon economy.Then,it analyzes the related factors of low carbon economy affecting low carbon development and initially constructs the measurement and evaluation system of Beijing low carbon economy development level.Based on this,this thesis construct a structural equation model.The statistical analysis software LISREL 8.80 is used to modify and fit the sample data,and finally form a model of Beijing low carbon economic development level measurement and evaluation system based on structural equation lodel.The conclusions are as follows.Firstly,Energy systems,economic systems,environmental systems,policy systems,and social systems have a greater impact on the development of low-carbon economy.Secondly,the economic system is the most important factor affecting the developlent of low-carbon economy,and its influence coefficient is 22.3%,amonu which the development the industrial structure has the most significant influence on the development of low-carbon economy.Thirdly,energy system is one of the main factors affectino the development of low-carbon economy,with a weight of 21.8%.Among the measurement indicators,the proportion of fossil energy consumption in total eneruy consumption has the greatest influence.Fourth,environmental system is another important factors affecting the development of low-carbon economy,and its correlation coefficient is 20.6%,low carbon research&development investment can improve the efficiency of industrial waste production treatment.Fifth,the political system,with a weight of 18.5%,has a impact of low carbon economy,the government can use the taxation and financial leverage tools to force high.energy-consuming enterprises to transform their economic development mode and structural upgrading.Lastly,the social system,with a weight of 16.8%,also has an important impact on the development of low carbon economy.The level of urbanization and the low carbon awareness of the public,low-carbon consumption,and low-carbon travel have a greater impact on the development of low-carbon economy.
