As an important secondary energy source for steel enterprises,the recycling of converter flue gas has high economic and environmental benefits.The new OG system of converter's primary dedusting has the characteristics of low energy consumption and high purification efficiency,so it has a good market prospect.The parameter design of OG system lacks a simple and quick way at present.In order to improve the design efficiency,this study achieves the dust removal equipment parameter design by software development for the dust removal equipment of new OG system,in different flue gas conditions of converter's outlet.The software,as an open platform,can also realize the storage and recall of the numerical simulation results of the core equipment of the new OG system.Aiming at the parameter design of the new OG system,the design software for new OG system of converter's primary dust removal was developed,which provided a new computer-aided design method for the parameter design of the OG system.Visual Basic was used to develop the software,then the key parameters of the dust removal equipment in new OG system was visually designed.In order to output the related characteristics of the core equipment through the software platform,the output window which can call the numerical simulation results directly was established.It should be noted that the cyclone dewatering device is one of the core components of the new OG system,but the related theoretical research is still insufficient.Therefore,gas-liquid separation characteristics of cyclone dewatering were selected as the research object,and the numerical simulation results were output through the output window.The following results can be obtained.The function of parameter design and numerical simulation result output are provided by the design software for new OG system of converter's primary dedusting.The establishment of the parameter design window is based on a summary of design experience.Visual design of key parameters of spray tower and venturi tube in new OG system are completed by VB language.The results of the design calculations are outputted directly through the software window.To achieve optimal design goals,the results are adjustable.Then,based on the design results,graphic files are generated automatically by AutoCAD.So the integration of parametric design and drawing is realized.In addition,through the numerical calculation window of the cyclone dehydrator,the numerical calculation results under various working conditions can be directly obtained.The software interface is friendly,the operation is simple and the design efficiency is improved.So a new method is provided for the parametric design of converter flue gas purification system.The numerical simulation results of the cyclone dehydrator in the software are based on its gas-liquid separation characteristics.According to the internal flow characteristics of cyclone dehydrator,the gas-liquid two-phase flow inside the cyclone dehydrator was calculated and analyzed,based on the Euler-Lagrangian method.The correctness of numerical calculation model was verified by comparison with experimental data in literature.The effects of droplet diameter,inlet dryness and turbulent diffusion on flow field distribution,separation efficiency,outlet dryness and outlet particle size distribution were studied.The results show that,when mass flow rate is constant,the inlet and outlet pressure drop of cyclone dehydrator increases significantly with the increase of inlet dryness.For droplets of the same diameter,without considering effect of turbulent diffusion,the separation efficiency increased with increasing inlet dryness.When considering effect of turbulent diffusion,the law is opposite for small droplets(0.1~1?m).The increase of continuous phase velocity promotes turbulence diffusion and makes turbulence more turbulent,but the separation efficiency is higher than the calculation result without considering effect of turbulent diffusion.Under the condition of mixed particle size,separation efficiency and outlet dryness increase with increasing inlet dryness.The calculation shows that effect of turbulent diffusion is beneficial to the separation of the mixed diameter droplets.As the inlet dryness increases,peak value of the droplet mass fraction gradually moves toward small particle size,and the particle size distribution range gradually decreases.
