With the rapid development of China’s economy, environmental problems have become increasingly prominent.Especially in recent years, extreme weather such as haze and typhoon has gradually made people realize that the mode of economic development is not sustainable at the cost of environment. The concept of low carbon economy is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people,As a pillar industry, the logistics industry has seen explosive growth with the rise of major e-commerce,However,the development of logistics industry is accompanied by huge energy consumption, and carbon dioxide emissions are increasing day by day,in order to achieve a low carbon economy, the energy conservation and emissions reduction need to explore a low carbon path under the pressure of the logistics industry. This thesis studies the driving factors and changes of carbon emission intensity of logistics industry in Jiangxi province,Anhui province and Guangdong province from a comparative perspective.First, carbon emission data of three provinces is calculated by direct energy consumption method.Secondly, the decomposition method of LMDI is used to decompose the carbon emission intensity of the three provinces and analyze the main reasons affecting the change of carbon emission intensity. Then, path analysis method is adopted to establish a model to study the direct and indirect path effects of four factors on the carbon emissions of logistics industry in each province, including industrial structure, technological development level, energy structure and infrastructure construction. Finally, decoupling analysis model is used to study the relationships between energy consumption, carbon emission and industry development of logistics industry in three provinces. The results show that the energy consumption of logistics industry in the three provinces is mainly petroleum energy. The main reason for the change of carbon emission intensity is the change of energy intensity.Industrial structure, technological development level, energy structure and infrastructure construction all have a positive effect on carbon emissions in Jiangxi and Anhui provinces. The technological development level and energy structure of the logistics industry in Guangdong province have an inhibitory effect on carbon emissions. The development of logistics industry in Jiangxi province,Guangdong province and Anhui province is in the state of expansionary connection, weak decoupling and expansionary negative decoupling respectively.
