Wetland is the world's most productive and ecological terrestrial ecosystem, but is has been seriously damaged in the process of human development.During the process of wetland protection, there is a large amount of interest conflicts phenomenon between stakeholders due to the wetland property as the ecosystem and resource, and this occurs a lot for rural households.Wetland can be divided into two categories, natural wetlands and constructed wetlands. The constructed wetlands in Yang County,is regarded as the means of production towards rural households, also as the habitat of crested ibis, one of the world's most threatened species,so it results in the benefits loss in a more direct and clear way. This research based on the rural householder level, from the constructed angle, measures the rural households wetland resource dependency, involves relationship of the cognition, attitude, willingness and the rural householders' participation behavior, and analyze their preference of wetland ecological compensation patterns and livelihood strategies. The results show:(1)The livelihood capital of rural households shows week and has a high wetland resource dependecy;(2)The rural householders' constructed wetlands area and their cognition of wetland service have positive impacts on their cognition of wetland ecological compensation;(3)Rural householders'cognition and attitude have positive impacts on their participation wiiliingness of wetland ecological compensation;(4)Rural householders' cognition and attitude have impacts on their participation behavior towards their participation williingness, however the current wetland ecological compensation only has direct impacts on participation wiiliingness, not participation behavior;(5)Rural householders prefer the compensation of cash, technology and policy, and the livelihood strategies of who lives outside the natural reserve is more diverse. On this basis, the study put forward that there should be more technology education, reasonable compensation standard and mating system.
