Nowadays,the sitting position is particularly common in the work,and the office chair is closely related to the health of the employee.About three-quarters of employees work in a sitting position,and sitting for one-third or more of the day.Occupational diseases caused by work(such as periarthritis of shoulder,lumbar spondylosis,etc.)are becoming more and more serious.One of the reason is sitting in an office chairs with unreasonable designed for the long hours,which not only affects the physical and mental health of the users,but also affects the work efficiency of the users.However,in the domestic,the relevant criterion for chair only basically stipulates the structural and the dimensional requirements.It is not possible to directly design a healthy and comfortable office chair according to the existing criterion.Therefore,it is necessary to determine the ergonomic office chair design requirements in accordance with the principles of human ergonomics.This will promote the updating of national office chair criterion and manufacturers will design more reasonable and comfortable office chairs according to the criterion,so office workers’ physical and mental health and work efficiency will be improved.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1.Establish the evaluation index system of the office chair.Firstly,the evaluation indexes of office chairs are preliminarily summarized through literature research,followed by in-depth interviews of 50 people and network surveys of 2103 people to screen the index.The existing problems in office chair design are summarized and the relationship between the structural size of office chairs and physical discomfort is analyzed,and 22 evaluation indexes of office chairs are determined.Then,through comprehensive evaluation,the G1 method with high efficiency,small error,and high operability is selected to calculate the weight coefficients of all levels of indexes.Finally,a systematic and comprehensive index system is established to provide reference and guidance for the ergonomic design of office chairs.2.Office chair ergonomics evaluation experiment was carried out.Firstly,On the basis of data research and ergonomic index system,the experimental scheme was designed.Then,the evaluation experiment on ergonomics is carried out from the five aspects of the headrest,the backrest,the seat surface,the armrest,and the adjustment bar.Including measurement of critical body dimensions,usability test,chair body pressure test,and arm motion capture.Finally,through the evaluation experiment,the most comfortable structural and size data of each part of the office chair is obtained.3.Office chair evaluation index value is determined.The combined method of subjective and objective was used in this study to analyze the subjective evaluations in the survey and objective experimental data.The size range(office chair evaluation index value)of the office chair conforming to the Chinese habits and ergonomics was obtained.And the main technical basis for drafting the national norms on ergonomics of office chairs was provided.This paper has studied the ergonomic design of office chairs,office chair evaluation index value is determined.The research results can provide basis and reference for the design of office chairs,and provide guidance for third-party certification of office chair on ergonomics.The physical and mental health of office chair users and their work efficiency will be improved. |
