Study On The Application Of Mechanical Pleating In Contemporary Design Of Female Clothings

The pleating of fabric has played a very important component in the clothing design.In industrial production,machine production is an important way to improve the yield.Two times reengineering of fabric as a design of fashion design,has always been concerned and used by designers.The principle of pleating machine is that under a certain temperature and humidity conditions putting some pressure on the fabric and changing the property of fabric can be made into the pleats that people want.In mechanized production,the use of fabric compression equipment can greatly improve the production efficiency and reduce the cost.The pleating of the fabric is transformed into a line shape with visual effect by changing the original shape of the fabric.It makes the original plain fabric show the sense of line and three-dimensional,and has a strong shaping ability and a good stereotype effect.It makes the original plain fabric show the sense of line and the three-dimensional sense,the shaping ability is strong,and the finalized effect is good.After the machine's high temperature setting,the fabric is not finalized and more flexible.The pleats make the fabric more personalized,increasing the added value and the beauty of the clothes.In this paper,the author through in-depth analysis and summary of the mechanical pleating,summarizes the design principle of mechanical pleating followed in practice,and how the mechanical pleating in the design of modern female clothing is skillfully used.The author designed five sets of clothing and becomes a clear style positioning.
