This thesis takes the hand-made copper art in Linxia area as the research object,and puts it in the background of natural environment,human environment and cultural ecology in Linxia area.Through the field investigation record,using the history,anthropology and imageology to analyzes the generation context,cultural ecology and production process of handmade copper in Hezhou,explores its process characteristics and aesthetic thoughts,and studies the inheritance of its art.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter studies the generation context and cultural ecology of Hezhou copper art.Firstly,it gives a preliminary overview of the natural environment and human environment of Hezhou area.Secondly,it further analyzes the business activities and handicraft traditions of Hezhou area.Exploring the influence of history,economy,religion,customs and geographical conditions on Hezhou copper art,and finally,exploring the spread and evolution of Hezhou copper art.The second chapter focuses on the field investigation records of Hezhou Copper Art,and carries out the detailed and accurate restoration and description of the materials,tools and production techniques of it,and explains the technical characteristics and technical value.The third chapter explores the craftsmanship and aesthetic characteristics of Hezhou Copper Art from two aspects,instrument type and pattern.And compare the copper art of Hezhou Copper Art with Kashgar in Xinjiang and Heqing in Yunnan.The fourth chapter,through field investigation and combined with interview data,making an objective expression of the survival and inheritance status of Hezhou Copper Art,in order to reflect its inheritance and development from the perspective of the protection of intangible cultural heritage.As a local traditional handicraft,Hezhou Copper Art is inseparable from the unique humanistic environment and local knowledge.Craftsmanship is sometimes not necessarily reflected in technical masterpieces.In the contemporary society where heavy handcrafts are increasingly out of date,this inheritance of cultural memories and customs comes from physical practice and even behavioral habits.The limited self-circulating system defined by culture can sometimes pass on this rough craftsmanship.
