In this paper,the safety of LK waste organic solvent storage tank area is studied.Four safety assessment methods,namely preliminary hazard analysis method,fault tree analysis method,DOW method and the flammable,explosive,and toxic major hazard source evaluation method,were applied to the analysis and evaluation of different storage tanks in the storage tank area,and PHAST software was used to analyze the consequences of methanol tank leakage accidents.Simulation,evaluation results are as follows:Through the use of PHA,the hazards and harmful factors in the tank area are identified and analyzed,and Fault Tree software is used to map the tank fire,explosion and leakage accidents.In the fault tree,the minimum cut sets,minimum diameter sets,and structure importance are solved.The calculation results show that there are many causes of the incidents at the top,and the key point is to strengthen the sealing performance of the storage tank and the control of the fire source in the storage tank area.The risk assessment method has analyzed that the tanks with the highest intrinsic risk in the tank area are ethanol waste tanks and acetonitrile waste liquid tanks.The degree of danger is Class I,and it is highly dangerous.The remaining risk of the tanks is Class II.Moderately dangerous.DOW method selected five units of acetonitrile tank,ethanol tank,methanol tank,toluene tank and ethyl acetate tank as evaluation objects,and calculated the exposure area of each tank and its compensation under safety measures.The magnitude of the property loss,the final evaluation results showed that the acetonitrile tank had the highest risk index.Before the safety measures were taken,the fire and explosion risk index was 111,and the hazard level was class III.The risk was moderate.After the safety measures were taken,the fire and explosion index was 45,and the hazard level was class I.It reached the level of intrinsic safety,and the maximum possible property loss of the tank decreased by about 60%.The flammable,explosive,and toxic major hazard source evaluation method is a quantitative safety assessment method that is applicable to major hazard sources and is developed in the context of China's national conditions.The evaluation results suggest that the inherent risk of the tank area is 3,961,3398.3 before the elimination factor is considered.The hazard level is two,and considering the offset factor,the actual risk is only 0.22% of the inherent risk.The hazard model of the pool fire accident consequence calculated that the hazard scope of the pool fire in n-hexane storage tank was the largest,the radius of minor injury was as high as 36.57 m,and the duration of fire was approximately 43.7 min.The vapor cloud explosion model believed that the hazard of the explosion occurred in the ethanol tank was the largest.The impact wave can cause casualties with a radius of more than 247 m.In order to investigate the leakage of combustible materials in storage tanks,the impact of wind speed,atmospheric stability,and leaky aperture on the hazardous consequences in the event of a fire or explosion of the ignition source was simulated,and the impact scope of the accident was simulated based on the plant floor plan to select the DNV PHAST.The software simulates the consequences of a methanol tank leakage accident.Based on the evaluation results,it proposes security measures to provide the basis for daily safety management of the company.
