Study On The Determination Of Artificial Musk In Cosmetics And Application

Artificial musk is often used as a flavoring agent added in daily necessities and is closely related to people’s daily life.Musk brings to people in the sense of pleasure,but it also brings serious health hazards to people and the environment.As we all know,artificial musk has strong bioaccumulation characteristics and is easy residues in various environmental media,as a result of lasting damage to the environment and ecology.The relevant regulations to manage the employ of musk,all over the world.It was reported that the detection methods established by the other researders were mainly about nitro-musk,about polycyclic musk,due to the lack of the detection method of big ring musk in them.Which couldn’t been used to detect all kinds of artificial musk.The development at the top-speed of the daily chemical industry regulatory requirements is not conducive.In this issue 11 kinds of artificial musks were selected mainly about niro-musk(Musk ambrette,MA;Musk xylene,MX;ketone musk,MK;Musk moskene,MM;Musk tiberen,MT),Polycyclic musk(Cashmeran,DPMI;Crysolide,ADBI;Galaxolide,HHCB;Traesolide,ATH;Tonalid,AHTN)and large ring musk(Muscone,MC),the detection was established by gas chromatography mass spectrometry.The method for the simultaneous detection of three kinds of 11 synthetic musk had been developed.The samples were extracted with dichloromethane/ethyl acetate(1:1),were analyzed by GC-MS with MS Quard(EI)and quantitated by external standard method after purification by AL-N-GCB solid-phase exreaction cartridges.The recoveries of method were range of 89%~110.38%,The relative standard deviation was between 2.55%~7.25%。 The detection limit of DPMI,ADBI,ATH,HHC B,AHTN,MM and MT of respe was 50 μg/kg,the detection limit of MA,MC,MX and MK of respe was 100 μg/kg,The method was established,three types of artificial musks were detected with simultaneously,which could solved the difficult problem of the traditional method which detect by several times of three types of artificial musk.The testing cost and testing time were greatly saved.The innovations of the method are following: 1.The method of detection could be used to detect 11 kinds of musks simultaneously covered these kinds musk of niro-musk,Polycyclic musk and large ring musk.2.The extraction solvent is more effect to deal complex matrix of cosmetic,binary solid phase extraction cartridges had better purification effect.3.The ions of qualitative and quantitive characteristics of 11 kinds musk is more suitable for analysising the object with complex matrix and the conditions of the chromatography and mass spectrometry was more conducive to qualitative and quantitive analysis.
