The issue of environmental sustainability has become a prominent factor in the industry's response to environmental challenges such as global climate change decision-making.The emissions of greenhouse gas(GHG)and their potential impact on the environment have become an important national and international issue. With the continuous development of e-commerce and economy, the energy consumption of online shopping mode has been paid more attention when enjoying the convenience provided by the Internet.Offline shopping in parallel with online shopping is another way for people to shop, the carbon emissions from the offline shopping model and the carbon emissions from online shopping have a significant impact on the environment. As a result, the environmental impact of carbon emissions from online shopping and offline shopping operations is becoming increasingly underestimated. The online shopping mode brings about a lot of carbon emissions due to transportation and storage, however, the energy consumption of heating, ventilation and air conditioning system and the storage time of supermarket goods are different from the offline shopping mode, which are huge energy consumption for physical stores. There are many kinds of shopping online goods, and the corresponding physical store shopping is also the same, but the two have their own differences in the operation mode,so they also have different energy consumption.Domestic and foreign scholars in the study of online shopping mode a nd offline shopping mode, there are different views on the differences between the two on carbon emissions. This article is based on the carbon emissions in the online shopping model and the operation process of the offline shopping model, consumer demand is determined, using different operating modes to satisfy demand.Focusing on modeling and analyzing carbon emissions from transportation and warehousing related to online shopping mode and offline shopping mode in the process of commodity circulation to terminal consumers, and thinking about different distribution processes from these two models,so as to establish mathematical models.Three modes have been set up for the online shopping mode and the offline shopping mode: delivery of goods from the manufacturer's warehouse to the pick-up points, the customer pick up goods at the pick-up points;delivery of goods from the manufacturer's warehouse to the delivery points, distribution points deliver goods to end consumers;distribution of goods from the manufacturer's warehouse to the supermarkets, consumers take the goods home by shopping trip, through the establishment of the three models of mathematical models, the use of simulation to compare carbon emissions.Manufacturer's warehouse transporting batches to distribution centers, manufacturers, warehouses transporting goods to large shopping malls, goods stored in manufacturers' warehouses, transport frequency, and number of consumers are used as variables to reflect changes in overall carbon emissions under various models. Finally, the changes in the carbon emissions when the variables are changed in the three modes will be explained in terms of the application of each mode.At the same time, the use of cases to carry out specific instructions.Currently, domestic and foreign scholars on the online shopping model and offline shopping mode research, mainly concentrated in the last kilometer,or only for transportation or storage research, however, there is no research on the entire product circulation process of online and offline shopping model products from the manufacturer warehouses to the end-consumers.Therefore,the research in this article has a holistic nature, this study hopes to make up for gaps, explore the respective scope of application of carbon emissions of online shopping models and offline shopping models, helping to build a low-carbon economy and promoting environmental sustainability.
