In recent years, the popularity of the Internet has been increasing.Online shopping with the Internet as a carrier has sprung up all over the world.Under the guidance of several big business enterprises in China, the development of network shopping is more and more prosperous. The development of things is always diverse.Online shopping as a product of the information age has greatly improved the efficiency of shopping and brought convenience to people. However, its impact on the urban traffic environment has not been known. The popularity of online shopping will change the residents’ shopping habits and affect the residents’ travel frequency, thus affecting the carbon emissions of urban traffic. In order to further clarify the specific impact of online shopping on urban traffic environment,it is particularly important to carry out quantitative analysis.Based on the traditional calculation method of carbon emissions from urban traffic, considering the impact of online shopping, this paper puts forward three prerequisites for the completion of the calculation:the ratio of shopping trip mode transfer, shopping trip volume and travel distance.First of all, considering the inconsistency of the object of this study at different times, building Prediction model of travel mode sharing rate before and after online shopping popularization with Markov chain and the discrete choice mode.On the basis of this, the construction of the transfer ratio prediction model is completed.Secondly, after analyzing the existing methods of carbon emission measurement,it is found that the data acquisition methods for travel distance and traffic volume are difficult or rough.By analyzing the research content of this paper,we find that the shortest path algorithm and traffic flow assignment method in the traditional "four steps" prediction method can perfectly solve the above problems. Then, based on the matrix iterative algorithm and the iterative weighted allocation method, the travel distance prediction model and the traffic volume prediction model of residents are established. Then, based on the "four steps" prediction method and combined with three prerequisites, the construction of the urban traffic carbon emission calculation model under the influence of online shopping is completed. Finally, taking the Y city as an example, this paper makes an empirical analysis on the impact of network shopping on the carbon emissions of urban traffic. The results show that in the online shopping environment, the transfer ratio of walking and bus is the highest among the four travel modes. As the shopping experience of different modes of transportation is different,in the development of online shopping, the poor experience of walking and bus users are more inclined to online shopping. The development of online shopping improves people’s quality of life, effectively reducing the shopping trips of urban residents, reducing the environmental pressure of urban traffic, and playing a positive role in the development of urban low carbon.
