Study On Art Characteristics And Special Skills Of Shaanxi Manual Printing And Dyeing

Shaanxi province is one of the important areas for the formation of Chinese civilization.Local manual printing and dyeing technology has a long history.It plays an important role in people's life,and cannot be replaced.Through long-term practice and development,local manual printing and dyeing ha s become a very mature technology.This manual craft with local characteristics has very high technical and practical,artistic and cultural value,etc.But with the development of modern civilization,shaanxi manual printing and dyeing is gradually replaced by machine production,and is gradually declining.In the research process of shaanxi manual printing and dyeing,through field investigation,I have gathered some relatively complete first-hand information.After a lot of research on material objects and files,I made a relatively clear analysis and summary of the cultural and skill characteristics of shaanxi manual printing and dyeing.This paper presents the research results from five important aspects:Firstly,the historical evolution of shaanxi manual printing and dyeing,its origin,development and decline.At the same time I also recorded modern preserved form of manual printing and dyeing.Secondly,the analysis of the local manual printing and dyeing product types,and themes of pattern.I also reveal the important role of the manual printing and dyeing in people's life and the symbolism of patterns.The third,I analyzed three aspects of the local manual printing and dyeing patterns: Modeling characteristics,composition characteristics and color characteristics.This part focuses on three places of the manual printing and dyeing: Hancheng City,Hanzhong City and Zhenba County.The fourth,I discussed the choices of gray cloth and the selection of dyes in manual printing and dyeing and its technological process.Mainly through the field investigation,I studied and summed up the oral data,material objects,historical document,etc.The fifth,I compiled the related historical records,guild regulations,folk stories,etc.further analyzing the contemporary manual printing and dyeing technology development situations,expounding the necessity of manual printing and dyeing protection.Through the discussion of the above several aspects,the shaanxi manual printing and dyeing theory system is more perfect.On the one hand,it provides the basis for the protection of the endangered manual craft.On the other hand,through the analysis of its cultural and artistic connotation,it offers theory support for the development and utilization of manual printing and dyeing in artistic practice and social practice,etc.And it also plays a positive role in carrying forward the local manual crafts and culture.
