The common corridor is an important infrastructure in the chemical industry park, which is responsible for the transportation of dangerous chemicals in the upstream and downstream equipment. At present, the construction of common corridors in chemical industry parks in China is booming, meanwhile, its accident rate is gradually increased, making more and more scholars pay attention to the research on risk control and safety management of common corridors.Because its overall environment is complex and special,a series of accidents including fire and explosion may be caused once a pipeline leak occurs, and it will impair the surrounding pipelines,or even have a threat to the safety operation of the whole park.According to the current situation of the common corridor in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, the research on the quantitative risk assessment method of the common corridor area is put forward, which mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Based on the investigation of the safety situation of the common corridor in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park and the related accident cases at home and abroad, its potential risks are analyzed and major hazards are identified.(2)Some basic equations involved in the model of accident analysis are introduced. After that,a 3D model of one pipeline in the common corridor is established by using FLACS software and then the initial accident pipeline is determined.(3)Four kinds of pipeline leakage accident is set up and FLACS software is used to simulate these scenes, then the diffusion rules and influencing areas can be concluded through this way.Explosion accidents are simulated on the basis of the leakage, the temperature fields, development of flames, blast waves in the different scenarios can be seen, eventually the magnitude of consequences are assessed.(4)Through learning experiences of related industrial risk standards, the acceptable risk standard of the common corridor is enacted, besides, the quantitative risk assessment model of the common corridor is established, which can be used to evaluate individual risk under the influence of a single or multiple risk sources. At last, some mitigation measures are proposed in order to reduce risk.
