| Since the reform and opening up,with the gradual development of the economic level,China’s environmental level has gradually deteriorated.While enjoying the dividends brought about by the rapid development of the economy,the people are also tasting the bitter fruit brought about by environmental degradation.After a series of environmental problems have been frequently exposed,the government and scholars are paying more and more attention to environmental issues.Economists began to study the relationship between the economy and the environment from the end of the last century.They found that there is an inverted "U" relationship between the environment and the economy,that is,in the early stage of economic growth,the quality of the environment follows the economy.Growth is deteriorating,and when the economy develops to a certain stage,the environmental quality gradually improves with economic growth.This inverted "U" relationship was called the environmental Kuznets curve by later scholars.Whether the environmental Kuznets curve is the only way for the relationship between economy and environment,whether the environmental Kuznets curve is applicable to China or a certain region in China,whether the selection of different pollutant indicators affects the existence and shape of the environmental Kuznets curve,These are all hot issues in research.This paper combines the BP neural network algorithm in machine learning with the traditional econometric empirical method to study the relationship between environmental quality and economic growth.Firstly,from the perspective of environmental Kuznets curve and environmental quality assessment,the related theories and concepts are expounded,and the research methods and research objects of related research are summarized and summarized.Then analyze the environment and economic status of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,use BP neural network model to calculate the environmental quality level of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,and further use ArcGIS software to describe the environmental quality evaluation value.Finally,using the fixed panel model to empirically analyze the relationship between economic development,social development,industrial structure,foreign direct investment and technological progress and the above-mentioned evaluation of the environmental quality level of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,industrial sulfur dioxide emissions and industrial wastewater discharge.Make relevant policy recommendations.Through the above research,this paper finds that from 2007 to 2016,from the perspective of economy,the Yangtze River Delta region is in a critical period of industrial structure transformation and upgrading.The proportion of the tertiary industry in most cities has exceeded the secondary industry,and foreign investors The amount of direct investment has gradually decreased.From an environmental point of view,the environmental quality of the Yangtze River Delta region has a tendency to deteriorate first and then improve.At the same time,the inverted “U” trend of sulfur dioxide emissions and the growth rate of total industrial wastewater discharge have been reduced year by year.And the center of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration-the prefecture-level city in and around Shanghai is of good environmental quality,while the environmental quality level of the prefecture-level cities is poor.Combined with the results of empirical research,this paper finds that the sulfur dioxide emissions and urban environmental quality evaluation values have a “U”-type relationship with economic growth,while the growth of industrial wastewater discharge and per capita income has been monotonously decreasing.Among them,the regression results of the model with urban environmental quality evaluation value as the dependent variable,in addition to the primary and secondary items of per capita GDP,the urbanization rate,industrial structure,technological progress and foreign direct investment have a significant relationship,other than There are more significant variables in the two models,and the inflection point of the environmental Kuznets curve is 54,000 yuan,which is higher than the inflection point of the model with the sulfur dioxide emissions as the independent variable,41,000 yuan,and the second of the three models.The proportion of industry to GDP is positively related to environmental indicators,and both are significant.Finally,the results of the above research are summarized and summarized,and the policy recommendations of accelerating the adjustment of industrial structure,gradually reducing the proportion of the secondary industry,rationally utilizing foreign capital,setting barriers for entry into the polluting industry,and so on,so as to more effectively improve the environmental quality of the Yangtze River Delta region and promote the economy. |
