Iron and steel metallurgy projects have the characteristics of large investment,long period of construction,large number of participants and complex organizational relationships.In recent years,with the feedback from the market about the overcapacity of steel and metallurgical products,serious pollution,and a single product structure,national policies have been adjusted accordingly.At present,the metallurgical industry is faced with difficulties from low investment,strict construction schedules,and high product quality requirements.With the comprehensive deepening of industrial upgrading and environmental protection policies,the unknown factors in the implementation of iron and steel metallurgical projects are increasing.If the risk can be managed scientifically,rationally and effectively,not only can they avoid losses,but they can also guarantee the smooth implementation of the project and even bring additional benefits.It is proved that effective risk management must be implemented in order to successfully avoid engineering risks and make the project run smoothly and achieve the project construction management objective.The paper focused on the specific conditions of the relocation project of Qingdao Iron&Steel 4#high speed wire rod and carried out risk management during the implementation of the entire project.Firstly,risk planning is carried out according to the background and the basic situation of the project;secondly,the expert survey method is used for risk identification;finally the identified risk factors are analyzed and evaluated and risk response measures are targeted.There are both theory research and empirical analysis,which offer theoretical and practical references for the risk management of construction enterprise in metallurgical engineering.Construction enterprises can do a better job in managing risks through effective risk management,strive to complete the original plan goals smoothly and efficiently,reduce the degree of risks and make it possible to achieve the safety,quality,progress and benefit target management of the project construction.
