Conjugated polymers containing the structure of nitrogen heterocyclic ring have attracted much interest in the filed of materials chemistry.Due to their novel physical and chemical properties,they can be widely utilized in various fields,for example the field of heterogeneous catalysis,conductive semiconductors,fluorescent materials,lithium ion batteries and solar cells.Therefore,in this paper,we are devoted to designing and synthesizing a series of novel conjugated polymers containing the structure of nitrogen heterocyclic ring.According to the characteristic of these polymers,vaious properties are explored.The main contents of this paper are described as follow:(1)We developed an easy method to synthesize insoluble polyimidazolium chloride salt(PImCl)via one-step method in mild conditions.After PImCl was chelated with palladium chloride in 3-chloropyridine,this insoluble N-heterocyclic carbene-Pd polymer(PNHC-Pd)was employed as the heterogeneous catalyst for Suzuki reactions of aryl bromides and phenylboronic acid.The catalytic activity of PNHC-Pd was high for many different substrates.Moreover,the Suzuki reaction of 4-bromoanisole with phenylboronic acid could be effectively catalyzed by this PNHC-Pd in mild conditions;a conversion reached 91%when the reaction temperature was kept at 30 ~oC.Just because of its insolubility in most of conventional solvents,this heterogeneous catalyst could be easily isolated by centrifugal separation;after several recycling runs,the catalytic activity decreased little.(2)We designed and synthesized a new and souble polyimine(PImine).The molecular weight of PImine was optimized.Subsequently,PImine optimized was used to prepare a souble polyimidazolium chloride salt derivative(PTPImCl).The thermal,optical and electrochemical properties of PTPImCl were studied in detailed.The HOMO/LUMO levels of PTPImCl were also studied in detailed.(3)We designed and synthesized three conjuaged polymers containing the structure of nitrogen heterocyclic ring,namely,PFBIm,PFBImI and PFNHC-Pd.The thermal,optical and electrochemical properties of PFBIm and PFBImI were studied in detailed,respectively.The HOMO/LUMO levels of PFBIm and PFBImI were also studied in detailed.In addition,the photophysical properties of acid-doped PFBIm and based-doped PFBI were studied in detailed.Furthermore,the conductivity of PFBIm,PFBImI and PFNHC-Pd before and after doping was also studied in detailed.
