With its drastic economic growth in the last few decades,China has become the largest energy consumer in the world, which has resulted in a large number of emissions and the huge pressure of the greenhouse gas emission reduction.China has a vast territory and numerous regions, there is a big gap of the economic development and carbon intensity among these regions. The interregional emission spillover and feedback effects of these regions are also likely to be significant differences. The study of the interregional emission spillover and feedback effects of these regions is an important means of clarifying the interregional emission correlation. The paper studies the feature of the interregional emissions from regional and regional sectoral levels based on China's interregional input-output tables from 2002 to 2010.Firstly,based on the three-region spillover and feedback effects method proposed by Round, this paper proposed a new calculation method involving more than three regions for the interregional spillover and feedback effects. Then an empirical analysis was conducted on the various emission effects among the eight regions of China at the regional and regional sectoral level. The result of calculating the feature of emissions at the regional level revealed that the intraregional effects were greater than the spillover effects, and the spillover effects were greater than the feedback effects. The central region, the northwestern region and the southwestern region produced a large amount of emissions respectively caused by spillover effects originating in other regions. The eastern coastal region, the southern coastal region and the northern coastal region incurred other regions generate large amounts of emissions respectively via spillover effects. Moreover, the closer regions were geographically, the stronger spillover effects showed among them, although emission feedback effects mainly came from within each region itself. At the regional sectoral level, the emission effects of the production and distribution of electricity, heat, gas and water(S5)and heavy industry(S4)were obviously larger than those of other sectors. The emission effects of the agriculture(S1)and construction(S6)were smaller than those of other sectors. For the production and distribution of electricity, heat, gas and water(S5),the central region and the northwestern region produced copious emissions in other regions by way of spillover effects. For the heavy industry(S4),the northern coastal region and the central region produced copious emissions in other regions by way of spillover effects.Emission feedback effects mainly came from within each region itself for all sectors.According to the study on the feature of emissions among the eight regions of China, the influence of the intraregional multiplier effect and the interregional spillover and feedback effects were different in different regions and regional sectors in China.Meanwhile, with the increasingly economic communication among regions, the influence of the interregional emission spillover and feedback effects gradually increased during the study period. Therefore, the study of the interregional emission spillover and feedback effects of the eight regions of China at the regional level and regional sectoral level was very important. It is of great reference value to understand the current situation and mutual influence of emissions in various regions, determine key regions and key sectors of emissions reduction, and formulate targeted emission reduction measures.
