| Since 2000 s,countries have paid increasingly attention to energy consumption, environmental pollution and carbon emissions while paying attention to economic development.More and more organisations and individuals concern the relation between increasingly frequent international trade and carbon emissions.China and Japan are two main economies in Asia, and relation on economic and trade becomes better and better. Also,China’s export volume to Japan has increased year by year. However,China and Japan are in different situation on the issue of carbon emissions.China has been under tremendous pressure to reduce carbon emissions, while Japan’s carbon emissions remained stable. Thus,an analysis of embodied carbon emissions and its influencing factors in China’s export trade to Japan is important.Firstly, this paper re-classifies the industry sectors to ensure uniform calibre according to the input and output table of Chin, the energy consumption table of all departments, the industry sectors of China’s export trade to Japan in 2000-2014.And then this paper uses multiregional input-output model to calculate carbon emissions of China’s export trade to Japan from 2000 to 2014.The results show that,China’s carbon emissions from export trade to Japan showed an upward trend during the period from 2000 to 2014,and the carbon emission pressure was mainly concentrated in five sectors which are high pollution, high energy consumption and low added value sectors.Respectively, they are(14)Other manufacturing,(12)Electrical and optical equipment,(4)Textile and textile products,(7)coke,refined petroleum and nuclear fuel(8)Chemicals and chemical products. Then, this paper divides the total effect of the total effect of China’s carbon emissions from export trade to Japan into technical effect, structural effect and scale effect according to the Structural Decomposition Analysis model. And then, this paper explores the influence and intensity of each effect on the total effect. The results show that the scale effect has the greatest impact on carbon emissions in China’s export trade to Japan, and the increase of the scale effect will promote the increase of carbon emission. The effect of structural effect is the smallest, and has positive influence on carbon emission overall. However, the technical effect will inhibit the increase in carbon emissions.Based on conclusions of this paper, the author puts forward some feasible policy suggestions. |
