The Study Of Tea Set Design Under Zen Aesthetics

With the rapid development of global economy and science and technology,people’s material civilization has reached an unprecedented height.In the era of abundant material,people’s demand for spiritual civilization is more urgent.Consumers no longer only consider the single consumption of product functional attributes,but also increasingly pay more and more attention to a kind of "spiritual demand" when purchasing products.The primary task of contemporary Chinese designers is to implant national culture and spirit into the context of modern design,and to combine tradition and modernity to create products that meet the current needs of the consumer.The content of this study mainly includes five parts.The first part expounds the development history of Zen,the social and cultural background of tea set design under Zen aesthetics,the current research situation of Zen culture at home and abroad,the purpose and significance of this research.At the same time,the paper systematically introduces the research ideas and methods used in the research process.The second part of the interpretation of Zen aesthetics,first clarify the relationship between Zen,the Chan sect,Zen’s real meaning of the three,introduced the zen elements of thought and Zen way of thinking.Afterwards,by analyzing and comparing,the characteristics of excellent Zen aesthetic products at home and abroad are summarized,which will pave the way for the research of tea design methods.The third part analyzes the relationship between consumer behavior and Zen aesthetics,including the deep analysis of behavior style,consumer sensory experience and use experience,and the relevant introduction of metaphor.The fourth part puts forward the combination of modern design elements and Zen aesthetic design,and introduces the method of materialization of Zen thought and the change of usage mode after materialization,which provides systematic guidance for design practice.In the end,the author makes use of the materialized method of Zen aesthetics to carry on the practice,and carries on the introspection appraisal after the practice is finished.
