Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventory And Emission Reduction Potential In Jiangxi Province

With the rapid development of the social economy,the emission of greenhouse gases has become the most concerned environmental problem between the people and the international government.Through the compilation of greenhouse gas emissions inventories,we can be more intuitively know the sources,calculation methods and changing trends of greenhouse gases in the study area,which is of great significance to set up the target of greenhouse gas emission reduction and evaluate the effect of emission reduction measures.Based on the case of Jiangxi Province,according to《The IPCC National Greenhouse Gas Inventories Guidelines》and《Guidelines for the compilation of provincial greenhouse gas inventories》,we account the greenhouse gas emissions from five departments of energy,industry,agriculture,forestry and waste in the research area.The greenhouse gas emissions in Jiangxi province are evaluated through greenhouse gas emissions per capita,greenhouse gas emissions per unit area,greenhouse gas emissions of 100 hundred yuan GDP and greenhouse gas emission assessment models.We can analyse the influencing factors of carbon emission by using Kaya formula and Log Mean Divisia Index,and also discuss the influence of decomposition results on greenhouse gas emissions.Finally,the greenhouse gas emissions in Jiangxi Province in2020 are predicted and analyzed by the scenario analysis method.Through the study,the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions in Jiangxi province is showing an increasing trend in 2005-2015 year,the total number is from 15729.5 t in2005 year to 27952.3 t in 2015 year.CO₂ is the highest greenhouse gas,the proportion of the emissions increased from 78.4%in 2005 year to 86.4%in 2015 year.But the proportion of CH₄ and NO₂ emissions show a decreasing trend.The largest amount of greenhouse gases emitted by energy consumption,the proportion of the emissions is over65%.In the past 2005-2015 year,the greenhouse gas emission level in Jiangxi Province rose from Ic to IIa,it shows that with the acceleration of the process of industrialization,the problem of environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious.Through the analysis of the influence factors of carbon emissions,we know that the population and per capita GDP are two important factors to promote greenhouse gas emissions.Under the case of"baseline scenario"and"low carbon policy scenario",the greenhouse gas emissions 100 hundred GDP were 1.57t/10⁴yuan and 1.37t/10⁴yuan in 2020 year.
